Description

A Powerfully Playable Bass The JS3 Concert Bass packs plenty of punch and sleek looks too with its poplar body and bound maple neck with graphite reinforcement. The JS3 Concert Bass comes equipped with two Jackson humbucking pickups, ready for you to dial in your ideal tone. And for a commanding feel, the amaranth fingerboard features a 12"-16" compound-radius for effortless playability. If you're looking for a seriously playable bass at a great value, look no further than the Jackson JS3 Concert Bass.Compound-radius fretboard The JS3 Concert Bass features a 12"-16" compound-radius fretboard for ultimate playability. The amaranth fingerboard is rounder near the nut for easy rhythm playing. As your playing heats up and moves up the fretboard, the radius flattens out for easier runs. With a neck that plays this slick, you'll find more reasons to get up to the higher frets in no time.Powerful electronics let you tweak

  • So close to a home run =(
The first thing I noticed was the setup from the factory was spot on. The action and neck relief were perfect! The fret edges and binding were perfect! The balance was perfect! So close to a home run! The tuning was only slightly off so I know that someone actually had this bass in their hands, excellent! Then as I started to tune the G string the tuner stopped turning because it was hitting the D string tuner and upon closer examination the G string tuner was crooked... how was this not noticed during the awesome factory set up I wonder? As I clicked off the tuning pedal I was greeted with a very loud static sound. Hmm, I turned the volume all the way down and the sound remained. If not for the tuner I would have dived into the electronics to fix the issue (sounds like a bad ground) as I have done on many basses before. Now because of the crooked tuner I have to decide on a return and gamble on another JS3 Concert or dealing with the warranty through fender... I went with this bass over a similarly priced Ibanez... decisions decisions... ... show more
