I've been using Jackery products for over 5 years. They offer absolutely one of the best power banks on the market today. So when my previous Jackery started (finally) wearing out (it took 5 yrs of abuse to do that!) , I knew I would replace it with another Jackery. When was the last time you had a seller on Amazon contact you personally, yes a real human over the phone. They quickly and efficiently remedied my problem with no questions asked. I was absolutely blown away by how professional, friendly and prompt all of the personnel were at Jackery. My opinion is that you will never have to contact Jackery about a problem with their products. They ALWAYS WORK. I'm impressed with this little generator. It charges up quickly, and I can charge 4 to 6 smartphones from almost empty to full, using a USB-C cord or a fast charging plug. I took it camping this summer and it was very convenient to have along: it tucks into the corner of my SUV's cargo area (it's a little too large to fit in the storage pocket but oh well), out of the way of the other camping equipment. I used it to charge my phone while making breakfast, and charged my headlamps at the same time. The solar panel works well -- it isn't as fast as plugging the generator into a wall socket, but it charges surprisingly fast on a sunny day when aimed precisely. This will be good for power outages in the winter; it's not adequate to run a heater or refrigerator (I have a gas-powered generator for that) but I can keep my phone charged and lamps powered.

Ok, so I had a compatibility problem between the Jackery 300 and the solar panel. The battery bank was terrific if plugged into the car or the 120v house. But the panel I got did not work with that unit. I called customer support, the wait time was very short, several minutes at most (and I called 4 times). The three different people I spoke to were very helpful and we got the issue resolved. In the end I ordered the Jackery 500 to replace the 300 because I wanted to keep the Solar Saga 100 Air panel and those are compatible. If you want the Jackery 300, you have to get the older two part folding panel. Good company!

Good battery life, easy to use. The build quality is somewhat concerning, the outlets don’t work perfectly, they always need some form of adjustments and you may need to be careful while moving the plugged-in devices (it will stop charging them easily). We needed also a replacement for the first unit because one of the outlets was just randomly work and not, the second one was better but still requires cord adjustments to work properly. On a bright sunny day, the solar panel is life changing, with clouds, you will need to plug-in the portable power station to the car or a socket.

So helpful when camping. My husband wasn’t sold when I first got it, he felt it was unnecessary. But with the solar panel it’s totally worth it. We powered a fan, charged our phones, used a hair straightener, an electric kettle and some other things. It would make it through a whole day of use but I did have to charge it every day with the solar panel as we were camping for 4 days. I then also used it for Halloween to use some lights away from the house. Something to think about is when you’re using something that heats up, such as the hair straightener, the watts usage spikes but then goes back down once the straightener comes to temp. It worries me at first but it wasn’t an issue.

I ordered 2 different Jackery Solar Generators w/the solar panels. I got one of the solar generators and the solar panels and I believe the solar panels for the 2nd generator but not the generator itself. Yet, the order status says everything was delivered last Saturday. I opened a ticket with Jackery, nobody has responded. I just tried calling their support # and had to navigate a complicated phone tree process. Finally got someone on the line, the line was horrible. He finally changed something with his headset after several minutes and then when I told him what I needed, he was rude and said I needed to call back and ask for support. I told him that is what I requested in their stupid phone tree and then hung up on me. I am beyond angry right now. I have nearly $2k wrapped up in their products and this is the kind of service they provide?
