Style: Portable Power Station 1500
I bought the smaller version of this and went out west for one month. I bought this one because I just wanted a few extra outlets and I highly recommend everybody to have this. If you have power loss I've had to use it a couple times with the storms in Ohio and I absolutely love it it recharges timely. It serves a great purpose for listening to the radio or plugging in and watching the news on my cell phone etc. not only the next long trip I take it will be mandatory in the back of the truck as a spare electricity point ... show more

I purchased the E1500 with four 100 watt jackert portable panels in May of 2021. I then purchased the E1500 again in June of 2023 without the panels as a backup. My primary use case was to power the fridge/freeze during power outages which are common in the spring where I live. A fully charged E1500 will power the fridge/freezer for about 7 hours before needing a charge. I've used the first unit several times. It saved our fridge contents enough to have paid for itself. I bought a 2nd E1500 system unit as a backup for those times when there is no sun. In the space of 8 days in June 2023 I used the Jackery system 3 different times for about 12 hours each time. The 2nd unit came in very handle within 3 days of its arrival when the power was out for over and there was no sun to power the unit. It is a great product. The only thing that I can fault it for is its impact on my wife and daughters who have difficulty breathing when the unit is being used indoors. They also have problem when I'm charging the batteries indoors as well. My wife and girls have asthma. When they are in the house with the jackery in use they are very uncomfortable. When they leave the house - for example to go outside and sit on the patio - they recover quickly. Jackery claims their unit is safe to use indoors. I do not doubt that since it has no impact on me; however, for those people with respiratory problems in my opinion its best to leave the system unit outside while powering your indoor appliances. If you use it outdoors, remember that it is not weather proof. You will need to protect it from the rain or snow. I've seen "generator tents" designed for small non-solar generators to do just that. One of these kinds of things may be something that would work well with the Jackery units during weather events. I recently bought a small one for use next time I need to use my Jackery outside. If you need to recharge a Jackery system and there is no sun, consider using a non-solar generator like the ALP 1000 watt propane-only generator. That is my current backup plan for those sun-less times when the batteries get low. ... show more
