I was finding I was having to plug in a power strip and then I made the moved to move up to something with 6 outlets. The bad, I lost a foot pad and haven't had an idea what to do to replace it. I bought this refurb for $500, saving $500 vs a new one. I added 3 yrs of warranty. still less than paying new. Item came well packaged and in new condition, I am a mobile DJ and doing outdoor events. Used for 1 gig so far and already see about 7-10 hours for my setup. My setup (2) QSC CP 12's, RANE Four Controller, Laptop and phone charging(fast charging), HDMI Splitter box. This setup runs 50-200watts peak. well under the 1000w rated(2000 surge) ... show more

Debating return of this unit….WHY in Gods name would they stick a non standard connection for solar panels !! I have an older 1000 with a standard Anderson type receptacle,,,,,now Jackery wants me to buy more, different cables or adaptors ? Good thing I kept the box !

    • Does not hold a charge
I charged it put it in my Faraday cage after checking to see if it worked. I pulled it out a few months later and there was zero charge. I charged it again put it back in the cage and pulled it out three weeks later and zero charge. How is this supposed to help you in an emergency? I did the research and the homework on this and thought I had chosen the best product but I am so disappointed I could cry. I am seeing that Jackery doesn’t stand behind the problem this unit has with holding a charge. Still under warranty, but I’m pretty sure they won’t do anything from what I have read others say. I so wish I had never bought this because I bought my son one also and this was before the price went down. That was $2000 for basically nothing. ... show more

Loses significant charge while stored; approx 20% per month, which is unacceptable. Contacted Jackery and was told that was normal, however their promotional materials indicate far less loss per month. They suggested I purchase a newer version even though I bought this unit new from them about 6 months ago. The price has dropped significantly since then which indicates that they know of the problem and want to dump the rest of their 1000 Pro models. ... show more
