This Jackery Explorer 240Wh purchased was on 12-12-18 and review written on 3-3-19. I go camping regardless of weather conditions about 120+ days a year. I have 30 tents of various sizes, shapes and designs which I modify each one for my needs. I camp all over the USA and keeping my devices charged up is of great importance. I have the Jackery Explorer 240Wh Power Station and Jackery 50watt Solar Panel Kit and Jackery 240 Protective Carrying Bag which I highly recommend. I love this small charging station setup. I used it for the 1st time while on a 3 week camping trip to Quartzsite, Arizona for RTR 2019 gathering. I recharged 4 Action cameras, 4 Mavic Pro batteries, iPhone6, 6 18650 batteries for 12v Fan, and 10000mah battery pack. When the Explorer 240Wh Power Station was at 40% charge, I would set solar panels outside 7:30am and reposition them thru out the day and was at 100% by 3:30pm. If you look at the picture of shade on the panel, it was still charging at 10watts where as most panels will not charge at all when shade is on even 10% of the panel. I also purchased the carry case which fits it perfect. The 50w solar panel are well made but not waterproof as it has external USB-A and USB-C ports. The 50w solar panel came with a nice protective cover to stow it in when not in use. 04-25-19 Update, on 4-3-19 I love this device so much, I purchased a 2nd Jackery Explorer 240Wh power station, Jackery had a 15% discount and I had a discount code from HoboTech youtube channel and was able to purchase this 2nd one for $197. I also purchased Jackery 240 Protective Carrying Bag to protect my investment. Yes the solar panels are a little pricey, but they are well worth it. They are very convenient, well made, foldable which take up a smaller foot print when not in use, tough and rugged, and do the job as described. The solar panel kit has 2 outputs 1 USB-A port at 5V/2.4amp and 1 USB-C port at 5V/3amp, 1 DC port at 16.2volts/3.15amp at50watts, being able to charge multiple devices at the time such the my Explorer 240Wh and iPhone, iPad4 tablet and/or action camera. I am able to charge anywhere WITHOUT having to carry 5 gallon gasoline and my 2200watt generator making my setup eco-Friendly. The solar panel kit included Jackery 50Watt Solar Panel, a 3M extension cord. It has a 24 month product warranty and Jackery's Customer Service is by far one of the best in the industry. I have contacted them with questions and received quick professional answer(s) to my question(s). An outstanding company and technical support group (hello@jackery.com). The 3 meter/9.84 feet cable that connects the solar panel to Explorer 240Wh is not offered in longer lengths which is the only downside. However, I made my on 20 feet extension cable. After this was recommended by a man used to dealing with such things, purchased as gift for friend and cover to carry. Plan to purchase for self after holidays as elderly female living alone with history of power failures and also in auto as long trip driver.

This reminds me of one of those soft sided insulated coolers. The upper zippered part will hold all my cables & such. Nice for keeping my Jackery protected while not in use.

Although the title of this item says it is a hard case for the Jackery, it is not. It is a soft case, but it’s very sturdy and protective with lots of foam. The zipper is of high-quality, and there is room to store other items such as cables, etc. I do recommend this, but buyer beware that this is not a hard case. ... show more

I find this to be an odd case. If the power station is removed from the case it collapses from the weight of the accessory bag on the top. And the loose foil-like lining makes it harder than it should be to get the power station into the case. For the most part it gets the job done, but I may have to try one of the third party cases before my return window expires. ... show more

This fits the Jackery Explorer 240 perfectly. There are no pockets for the Car Charger Cable or the AC & AC Cable (2 parts) BUT they all fit on top of the Jackery Explorer 240 when in the case (see photos). The power station is a little heavy but it it is contained well in the case and the carry handles seem to hold up. There is also a shoulder strap which I keep in the case with the power cords. Once I start using this when camping, I will decide if I need to use it or not. The shoulder strap clips to the case on either side. The rings that the strap clips to are metal. Check back with me in the fall to see how well it held up. It seems very sturdy and I don't plan on abusing it or throwing it around so I think it will last with proper care. ... show more
