There is also a zipper on the top so you can open and expose the handle so it can be carried. The inside of the cover has a soft finish. This cover fit Champion 2500 W generator/inverter weighing 39 lbs. Elastic hem at bottom holds in place. I measured seam-to-seam 19" wide / 15" high / 12" deep. There's zippered top access allowing user to grab carrying handle. Still unsure how exhaust gonna "do" since there is no vent for muffler/exhaust. I bought this cover for my 2000watt Predator generator from Harbor Freight. It fits perfectly! I couldn't believe the low price for such a high quality cover. I especially like the zipper access for the carrying handle. You just have to be sure the generator is completely cool before putting the cover on. I have a Champion 2500W dual-fuel generator (model number 100899). This cover fits over it perfectly and keeps the dust off of it when it’s in my shed. Honda-brand covers for their portable generators are a bit more shaped and conformal to the shape of the generator and so are more model-specific. The Champion-brand cover is more “boxy”, presumably for use on several models of their products.
