We've been invited to so many western dress up parties over the years. We try to find something in the closet to work but we never look really good. We both used to have cowboy boots when I went through my country music phase. but those are long gone. So I ordered us both a new pair. I already had a shirt, scarf and hat for him so this was the final piece he needed. You just walk differently in boots. I thought it was a swagger thing, but they just feel different and so you walk that way. These are lighter than other boots I looked at. Since we're not using these as work boots it's more fitting for us. I don't think they would hold up very long in a work situation to be honest. But from a distance they have the 'look' you expect and that's what we wanted. We didn't want an expensive boot, so the price is right as well. ... show more
