…but I don’t hate it. So this one is on me. I didn’t measure and when I saw “enamel coated” my brain said “stoneware” so I rolled with it. I don’t love it because I got something I wasn’t expecting, but I don’t hate it because it’s a quality product. The actual box is absolutely huge. Think a really good size book, or two medium books stacked on top of one another. This thing holds teabags on top of teabags on top of...you get it. It does make that tinny sort of sound when you open it if you can’t stand that kind of thing, but the print is nice and clear and the white is unblemished. It does stay open and the hinges are well oiled. (No squeaking or grinding.) Another plus: I really don’t think it’s going to dent unless you sit on it. My husband gave it the arthritis stamp of approval and I have to agree, it’s pretty easy to open. Bottom line: I think it’ll hold up to the test of time and it’ll look great on the coffee bar.
