Bought this set to crimp wires onto European 1/2 mm open barrel automotive contact pins. Although small pins, the crimper handled them with ease, securely attaching the wires. Should've bought this sooner. Haven't had a chance to use the other crimpers for closed-barrel pins, but they're sturdy, well-made, and I expect them to last for many years. ... show more

This kit is a great value and the tools are easy to use. Very intuitive. Detracted one star because the size 20 closed barrel crimper is off-center, so it crimps unevenly -- contacts end up with deep indents on one side and shallow indents on the other. Have not had any issues apart from that. Still crimps well and the other tools in the kit work well. Nice to have a hard case to carry everything around in, too. ... show more

I work in a shop as a wiring tech building harnesses from rolls of wire for custom car builds. These get used every day constantly. Better in my opinion than the 200+ dollar tool that needs to be adjusted for different gauge pins and wire constantly. Much easier having 3 separate dedicated crimpers for the three sizes of pins. They are well made, function smoothly and have a great solid feel. Helped make the electrical connections look professional. I recommend this to the homeowner and pro alike. Can’t say how they would hold up to daily hard use, but they definately seem up to the task.
