The synthetic material has a rich, leather-like texture that looks professional and cleans up easily after getting dusty. The construction of these boots feels incredibly solid. The decorative stitching on the shaft is tight and detailed, giving them that authentic country aesthetic without any loose threads or imperfections. I especially appreciate the reinforced pull-on straps at the top; they feel sturdy enough to handle the tension of sliding the boots on every morning without showing signs of strain. I ordered the IUV Cowboy Boots for Men, Square Toe Western Boots in the Black color, size 11.5, and I am genuinely impressed with how well these boots balance comfort, style, and everyday practicality. I ordered these boots in size 12.5 in brown, and my first impression was that they feel solid and well-made without being overly heavy. This is my first pair of “cowboy” boots. I want to sure of the fit and didn’t want to spend a ton of money on some 100% leather boys if it didn’t work out or I didn’t like it. These bits were a great compromise. They look just like real leather. I’m pretty sure this is like that “pleather” material they use on cheaper shoes and it works fine for my purpose which is to wear them to work. I like that the larger heel makes me a little taller. Size wise, I got a half a size smaller than my usual sneakers and I probably could have gone a whole size smaller since these don’t have laces to really tighten them up. Like I mentioned, this is my first pair. I’m pretty sure they would fit a little more snug if i tucked my pants in them too. However, that’s not really my style to show off that boot look. Time will tell how long they last, especially if they get wet from rain and such. I really like them and they seem to be a pretty good talking point when i wear them around.
