Just what I needed. I use this sand anchor for my pontoon boat. I wanted a second anchor for sand bars to keep my boat from washing into others. I didn’t want another bulky hard to store anchor. This solved my problems. This is a very well built compact and to store sand anchor. It is easy to assembly and break down. It has a removable handle to easily drill it into the sand and then remove and store the handle until your ready to shove off. I also really like that it comes with a small float to identify the anchor of it is under water. This product is made with high quality metal, heavy duty. We have used in both fresh and salt water several times. It works very well. No rust. However, The T-bar for screwing the anchor into the sand is loose and we lost it once but found it. Be sure to put it in the bag and store it in a safe place. Works in mud or soft sand. Nightmare to try to get in to work in hard pack sand. May also be worth to carry a small screw driver or pin when you drop the screw that mates the two parts in the water. Foam handles come off when wet.
