While the features aren’t the greatest, the colors are vibrant and can always be switched out for a light strip that you may prefer. Assembly: maybe took me about 2 hours to put together in all. I enjoy it so far. The table top opens up really smooth. the space under the table is good enough for my gaming accessories thankfully. I have the cubby for books/notebooks so they're easily accessable. Building it took forever but i took my time to make sure i didnt mess up. Love the black, matches my bookshelves and entertainment center really great. Its weird though that the main lift top goes away from the cubby part, which wouldve been nicer if it went the same way so you still have access without having to go around but its still a nice table. Good for small places too. I thought it would be too big in a small space but suprisingly not. I got this on sale so i think it was worth it. ... show more

This is my favorite table! I didn’t know I could have a favorite table. But it’s this. I have very little experience putting anything together with tools. This had good instructions if followed. This table is pretty darn cool. Pain in the butt to connect the top to the hinges due to the angle you need. Otherwise it was easy to assemble. I have arthritis severe in my hands and I assembled it all by myself. The raised top is a nice height to eat from. Overall 5 stars.

    • Nice Versatile Coffee Table with Storage!

I love this coffee table. It’s so versatile and easy to change the size of it. The assembly was somewhat involved, but the instruction manual that came with it was pretty decent. My father put it together for me since I pretty much have visual perceptual deficits. LOL! I live by myself, so I usually eat my meals in the living room while watching TV with my Rottweiler. When I open the table up and bring it towards me and sit on the couch, it keeps my Rottweiler from being able to get her snout in my plate! That’s great for me even though she doesn’t really like.. Lol. I would definitely recommend this table for anyone who needs storage for books or office supplies or pretty much anything. I have my biometric gun safe on the large bottom shelf. It’s easy to access and the light is very nice as it allows me to see where to put my finger if I need to open it.     • Batteries, of all things to find I needed after the fact

This table needs batteries. Not only is this not stated anywhere on the product information at all, but who decided that was a better idea then a plug in version? Many of the similar tables with leds have locations to plug in your phone or other electronic devices, when seeing the leds and also the corded button that was listed as part of the leds one would think that it is at least plugged in. I knew it didn’t have extra usb ports or electrical sockets but this is not what was expected. Also the location to house this button? Under the storage area. This means the following about the button: You can’t easily get to the battery pack unless you make it very visible. While the lights have app control you also have the leave the battery box on all the time. I bought this design as it had more storage options than some of the cheaper options. Upon further review having gotten the item I should have ordered a cheaper one with less storage and an actual power strip and usb ports. I am in the process now of returning the item. Though as I had someone else help put it together I didn’t realize it was battery operated until after it was fully assembled. ... show more
