I’m in my 40s, very fair skin and blonde hair, and I struggle with rosacea and sensitive skin. I really love the IT matte CC+ cream and I wanted to love this illuminating cream just as much but I’m afraid, for me, it just makes me look sweaty. And I feel like it draws more attention to my signs of aging. I know this looks beautiful on so many women but I guess I’ll need to stick with the matte cream. As far as matching my skin tone, it could have been a little lighter for me. I was surprised that it was darker than I expected. Having said all that, it does cover my rosacea well and it stays in place all day so that’s good. Those are great qualities about their foundation across the board with this brand. I love the brand but I think I’ll need to stick to either the original or matte version going forward.

I’ve been using this for several years and it goes on smoothly and makes my complexion look better. It’s not oily or drying to your skin. I like that it glides on smoothly and doesn’t seem to get in my wrinkles like other brands I’ve used. Got this on sale and was so happy to see it as it was cheaper than Sephora or Ulta. I use a brush to blend it on my face but use a sponge for my nose as the bristles don’t work well on my nose. Lots of colors to choose from to match your skin tone.

I bought this bc my sisters been using it and I could see how nicely it made her face look even without any other makeup on! We have different skin tones and I’m a cool while she is a warm so when I went to order for myself I thought the fair/light w cool undertones would be perfect for me since I’m fair w red hair and freckles and her shade was a bit too dark for me with a warmer tone, she’s a brunette w brown eyes and again darker complexion. However it turns out this is the exact shade and version she uses! I was SO disappointed!!! Bc it really is lovely but it just doesn’t work on me bc it has such warm undertones and darker/more taupe/ orangey color to it. I didn’t buy the other light shade bc it’s description said it had warm undertones where this one said it has cool undertones so now I’m wondering if they’ve simply mislabeled them or they’re just opposite? It’s a big gamble for the big price but since it’s such a great product and looks so great and convenient for my sister maybe I will try the other shade…so to be continued…maybe.
