It is not too big (I think it appears larger in the pictures) but very spacious. Has lots of compartments which I like. The strap is a decent length. For my liking, it could be a few inches longer. It is made in China. Wish it were made in the US. I would pay extra for made in the USA products. Would love to be able to get this purse in dark purple. I use forearm crutches so I needed a good crossbody purse. I received the bag and proceeded to fill it up. I ended up with a lot more room to put things. I can actually carry a full-sized wallet! It looks like it’s very well made. The zippers flow smoothly and the lining is soft and sturdy. It has a wonderful leather smell. It looks just like the picture.
