I got these to do some datacenter work. Data centers are noisy and hearing protection is important. I want to keep my kit size small so I invented in these active hearing protection iso tunes buds. They do allow for one to hear the world around when there is something important to hear and they do block the machine room noise. When they don'tt do well is process the microphone audio well to allow me to talk to someone by voice chat. I tyried several apps and the phone and when I was in the machine room they just blocked out my voice completely. The person on the other end could only hear the plaintive beeping of a device calling for help. If it wasn't past the 30 day return window I would return them. Now they will join the other failed earbuds on the shelf. I do have a pair of samsung ones that worked fine for my outbount audio, the folks on the other end could hear me fine, but those don't do the hearing protection function well. These also have a tight fitting case so there is no room for custom earmolds to make them fit better. ... show more

Used these in a metal fab shop. PROS - Noise reduction varies depending on which tip you use but overall about as good as standard foam earplugs. - Battery easily lasted a full work day without recharging. - Good sound quality on music and calls. CONS - The "AWARE" feature technology needs work, it sometimes amplifies ambient noise from fans, wind, etc and makes it sound like you're under a waterfall. Skip this feature and save a chunk of money. - 1 year warranty ONLY applies if you buy from isotunes website, buying through amazon gives you the standard amazon return and refund policy. - Music volume wont go super high, but that's understandable as the whole point of these is to protect your hearing. ... show more

These safety earbuds deliver excellent sound quality and boast useful features. However, the touch controls are highly frustrating, often requiring multiple attempts to perform desired actions. Additionally, the high price may not be justified considering the touch control issues.

They work as earplugs in a loud environment, the battery life is good, and the build quality seems ok (I've only had it for a week so I can't attest to the longevity). But that is where the positives end. The sound quality is passable. Not audiophile grade, but not terrible. Bass was a little high. There is no app (and their support claims they have no intention of making one), so adjusting an eq is out of the question. This also makes the controls uncustomizable, as the default single tap the left bud to increase the passthrough sound is very annoying (it's capacitive touch and unreliable). The pass through sound is one of it's weakest spots. The buds do not accurately recreate outside sound, so it sounds like you are underwater. The loud noise cutoff is a little slow to respond. With passthrough sound off, there is also constant white noise when no audio is playing (made way worse when passthrough sound is on). Overall these said they did everything I wanted them to do, but in reality are half baked at best. They are also huge and stick quite a ways out. ... show more

The product is very high quality. Sound quality is great. Battery life is great! I like the carrying case. Just found out today that the product stood up to have a truck and trailer driven over it!! So yeah highly recommended worth every penny!!

Didn't even last a year. Sound cancellation sucks, works when it wants to not when needed. Can't turn off sound amplification so super annoying when trying to listen to music. Right ear bud took a crap and made left useless. In the trash now and will not be buying again.
