I have been very squeamish lately and have avoided products like this since I would be creeped out looking at my eardrum. Well, my left ear was completely clogged up and I couldn’t hear out of it for two weeks! Debrox drops were not helping at all. Well, I was desperate and ran across this device! Setup was extremely easy. Camera was on and app downloaded in 2 minutes, if not less. It was super easy to manage. Well, I looked in my left ear, the clogged one, and could see like a black wall of funk. I didn’t know what my ear drum looked like so I decided to look into my right ear next. I saw my ear drum, which is opaque and silvery looking (can’t miss it), and a big glob of hard earwax sitting in front of it! You can see it on the wipe in the photo. I used the device and it came out easily. I did a little housekeeping in there and moved to the bad ear. I realized that the wall was earwax and you couldn’t see my eardrum at all! So I got to work! 30 minutes later I took so much gunk out from that ear it was ridiculous. I still need to go back in and finish. I can finally see my ear drum now! But some of my wall of earwax is still there. Not the devices fault at all! It is simply because the earwax was so hard that I irritated the canal a bit from scraping against it and trying to drag/scoop the earwax out. I really should have applied some drops to my ear to soften it up a few times before starting but I was impatient to hear. Not going to lie, this is a bit addictive if you have enough cleaning to do in there. I was satisfied! I love watching videos like this and I love that you can record your work! I went back and watched the video several times! Did I mention I’m squeamish? Not anymore! ADVICE: Take your time! It takes a little getting used to to get used to angles etc. I didn’t switch from right ear to left ear, which is an option for the camera view on the app. I kept it on right ear and it worked just fine for me! If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! You’ll start to see how you can scoop up the earwax better and can get better camera angles/ a better view inside. I also recommend to not stay in there for too long. I cleaned for like 45 minutes and I don’t recommend that. Now my ear is a little raw inside. I think you can see a small part starting to get red and irritated after awhile. After 15 minutes I would come back and try again another day. If the earwax is hard to get, use some ear drops to loosen it up and come back another day. It’s not worth the irritation inside. I just did this yesterday and left it alone but my ear does have a little pain when yawning, etc. so I’ll let it heal for a week or so before I go back in to finish the job. Again, completely my fault since I was so intrigued by cleaning my ears and very impatient. My earwax in my left ear is right in front of my eardrum if not on top of it a bit. I’m using the drops for awhile to get it to move a little away from it. I don’t want to touch it by accident! I recommend the same! Afterwards you will hear so much better! Things actually seemed almost too loud for me and I had to get adjusted to the louder sounds. I actually jumped once I cleared a little hole of my impacted ear. Once I’m done I can’t imagine how much louder everything will be again! I now realize I don’t think I’ve been hearing right for a couple of years now and wish I had this earlier! I recommend this device to everyone! My right ear was clear but there was still a huge glob of dried earwax in there! Just use it and take a look to make sure everything is clear. You won’t regret it! I normally don’t write reviews but I had to! This is a well-made product! I definitely won’t be sticking Q-tips in my ears anymore and will do some maintenance every few months or so instead. I know you’re not supposed to use them, and I was, so that probably had an effect along with prolonged earphone use!!

4/5 stars overall The image quality is actually great! I kept hearing a ruffling sound in my ear but it wasn’t persistent/ annoying enough for me to actually go see a doctor. I found out that i had a hair stuck in my ear! Not an ear hair, a price of hair from my head ended up stuck so far in my ear!! (See image below) I ended up getting it out with this tool (it was kinda hard but then again this tool is for ear wax & not hair!) As for removing ear wax: the kit comes with multiple blue rubber pieces that are all slightly different textures (for scooping/scraping) that fit over the metal pieces of tool that goes in your ear. It’s very sturdy & the pieces fit good without sliding off the tool. The blue pieces do NOT create skin irritation (if you just use the metal piece it does scrape your skin I do not recommended. They’re easy to clean too. The kit also comes with separate ear cleaning tools that do NOT attach to the tool. So, you cannot clean with these pieces while using the camera. I would give 5/5 starts if these cleaning pieces actually attached to the piece so you could see while you cleaned. I feel like those pieces would clean better / easier than the blue pieces.

I'm super sensitive to my ears getting cleaned, especially by others. Used to let wax build up until it would begin to clog my ears and/or impair my hearing and then would have to flush it out which was super uncomfortable. Saw an ad for something like this on social media and was like this seems like a scam item but was desperate enough to try. But I LOVE it. First time I used it I got so much wax out. Now It allows me independence in cleaning my ears by myself. It works really well. Camera has stayed clear for the 1+ year that I've had it. Charge lasts a while. Rubber tips don't feel abrasive. A little bit a a learning curve but simple enough to pick up.

Saved me a trip and the cost of a visit to urgent care or audiologist. Had reduced hearing on my right side.. very noticeable thought it was old age/hearing loss. My doctor during yearly exam just said my ear is dirty. Found this device, and out of curiosity and based on the low cost...went for it as well as Debrox ear drops. Charging it was quick, so was the app download. Learned quickly that you first turn device on, then open app and connect. All super easy. Now... the first look into my right side was almost shocking...dark brown.. sid stuff. I highly recommend you Google dirty and clean inner ear pictures so you get a better idea what you are facing. Spent some time using the pre attached blue rubber tip...removed quite a bit of big blops... till the ear got to sensitive/a bit irritated. Continued with left. Easy going mostly whitish earwax. Decided to take a break, put debrox drops in right side.... waited.. flushed a few more flops out with the bulb using warm water.... done for today. Repeat gently next day, glad I looked up clean ear pics so I stopped dogged at the right time before actually trying to go onto ear drum. So, overall: fantastic tool!!! Ps: will never use Qtips inside ear canal, just to remove wax at the entrance. Will use this tool like once a month just to see what's going on.

Works very well. Wifi connection to phone is easy with the app. Excellent picture and sharp images and great clarity. Built in light illuminates the ear canal and let's you see what ine ear canal looks light.

I bought the Leiput Ear Cleaner for it's camera to see inside my ear. When I first bought it, I charged it up and it worked great with my iPad. I was very pleased with it. I used it a dozen times over the course of a month to be able to make sure there was no ear infection in my ear. The camera feature worked smoothly everytime, and when I needed to recharge the batteries it worked fine. I haven't used it at all in four months. When I recently got it out again to check my ear via the camera, the power light blinked letting me know it needed charged. I charged it a full 12 hours and it would not recharge. I charged it another 24 hours and it will still not recharge. It is very disappointing that after such a limited amount of use that it now doesn't work at all. Very disappointing.

This product is great! My daughter has very small ear openings and I have a hard time cleaning them with Qtips. This tool allows me to see into her ear and we have removed SEVERAL big ear wax balls stuck in her ear. I love that you can see if the ear if red or not also. She is my ear infection child so being able to see in the ear is a must! The only downfall is that it doesnt last very long on battery but I am able to use it while it charges if needed. You do have to be careful that you do not go too far or it will hurt the ears. But if you have pain from build up this tool WILL help you get it out and help ease your pain. highly reccomend! My daughter is 5 and loves when i use it.
