I ordered the Afro Kinky Curly wig in 18 inches. The first photo is straight out the box. The second photo is brushed out and detangled. The third photo is freshly washed with style foam. The fourth photo is worn fully dried, cut and shaped. The wig does have a slight smell so just wash it out and you’re good. The ends of the wig were a tad knotted/matted and the wig sheds a lot at first but if you fully brush out the wig and wash it, all of that will stop. Even though I ordered 18 inches, I cut it ALOT because of my job(can’t have long hair). I should’ve bought a shorter length but I wasn’t sure how long/short it would be. Either way, This is such a beautiful wig and I’ve been getting so many compliments.

My original review of this wig was not good. I’ve changed my mind and deleted it. This wig is fabulous!! Many reviewers seem to have the same initial problems that I did, so I’ll share what I’ve learned. I purchased the 26in kinky curly. I wanted the afro curly, but the length stoped at 22”. When I opened this wig initially, I was underwhelmed. The curls were much looser than I expected. The wig was also much lighter than my hair. But most importantly it didn’t look 26”long and it didn’t look 180 thickness. I was confused and frustrated for spending so much on this disappointment. I decided to give it a chance and see how it turned out after a washing and conditioning. I let it air dry. There was no change. And like other reviewers the ends were frizzy and knotted. It looked a mess still. Right when I was about to give up, I decided to brush out the wig completely with a paddle brush. That’s where the magic was ladies. When I did that, I could see the hair in all its glory. I can attest that it is definitely 26” long and it is a 180 thickness! Once I brushed out those awful initial clumped and frizzy curls the wig was beautiful. The ends also smoothed out for me. I didn’t even need to trim them. I’m attaching a photo of the wig right after I brushed it out for the first time. After that, I applied mousse and allowed it to curl back up on its own. This time it curled into a voluminous, beautiful kinky curly style. Absolutely stunning. The ends were also no longer frizzy. I’ve also done twist outs and wand curls. I love it. At this point the only negative is the color being too light, but that’s personal preference and was easy to fix. I would say the color was closer to a #2 than a #1B. I have black hair, so 1B is as light as I can go. I dyed the wig soft black. It’s good to go. I love it. I’ll be purchasing a backup as well. The lesson in this is not to just wear it out of the box and complain about how it looks. That’s like trying to wear your hair as it is when you rolled out of bed. Brush the hair like you would your regular human hair and then style it. It literally will behave exactly like human hair after that, and I do mean behave. It’s a beautiful wig that’s really easy to style.

Purchased :ISEE Hair Afro Kinky Curly Headband Wig Human Hair 180% Density Afro Wigs for Black Women Natural Curls 10A Glue less Human Hair Wig (14 Inch) Pros: Great put on and go wig, soft, beautiful curl pattern, Headband width is acceptable, decent comb placement ,never had an issue with the wig slipping off even on a windy day. Cons: I washed the wig about 10 times since purchasing in March(7mths ago) using a moisturizing shampoo it has retained the curl but the color starts to change,it is now a light brown color and since purchasing and it has a burnt hair smell and when it rains and the wig gets wet the smell presents itself even after washing it multiple times. That alone makes me self-conscience.

I love this headband wig, can you say shake and go. The curls are gorgeous and this is so fast and convient. The wig is big head friendly and the wig is so full. There are 3 combs at the top and one in the back. An adjustible strap and the Velcro head band for secureing. I wore it right out the box, but once I washed and define it's even better. I can the longevity so the money was worth it, but it was very affordable as well. I did no shaping and it still has good shaping to form around the face.A happy purchase for me.

I wash and restyle every 3 days! I recommend using a good mousse to keep curls defined! So far I have minimal shedding & will update as time progresses. I also bleached to brown because it was a lot darker than my hair and it took to the bleach well. ———————— UPDATE: On month 2, hair is starting to tangle a lot more often! Curls have slightly loosened but hair still looks amazing once dried and fluffed. Still good hair. curls still look great and minimal shedding when detangled correctly. I restyle every 2 days to get the hair from matting at the nape! I still recommend using mousse to keep the curls light and fluffy :). For the price, i would still recommend this hair. I’m sure it will last a few more months. It’s all about managing the hair correctly
