I got this frame to display a flower from a bouquet my fiance got me for our anniversary. I usually shop for this sort of thing are thrift shops or craft stores so I can get a discount but I fell in love with the look of this frame the moment I saw it and had to have it! It is really quite lovely and I found the quality to be very nice for the price! It came in great condition, the glass is perfect and clear and took minimal "cleaning" to wipe off some excess dust from packing. I will say that originally I was hoping to put a pressed rose in the frame but I guess it was a bit thick (possibly my fault for not pressing it flat enough) and I ended up using a different part of the bouquet (some sort of white "accent flower"(?). I would say be mindful of the thickness of something you are trying to frame in this, I was maybe a little more forceful that I probably should of been trying to close it ... I am a little stubborn...just glad this frame did not break on me! :) ... show more

I bought this for work. It came dirty, I'm guessing from being in a warehouse for a long period of time, that's why I gave it a 3/5 in the "giftable" category, because you'd definitely have to clean it before gifting it. Other than that, it is simple, timeless, and elegant. We love it.

    • Beautiful frames but sticker removal a pain.

This is a beautiful product. It opens and shuts easily enough and the stand seems sturdy. The only issue would be the stickers needing removal from the inside but especially the back of the frames. These must be removed as the frames are entirely see through. I tried hot soap/water and fingernail polish remover though these only removed most of the sticker paper. You will need actual adhesive removal to get the stickers off the back. Adhesive removal makes it a breeze, other wise you might find yourself extremely frustrated. I would strongly advise the makers to find a better way to label their product. ... show more

When I first opened the packaging, I was surprised at the structure of the frame. It is hinges on the side and you basically sandwich the picture in between two plates of glass. It is far more unique and expensive looking than the picture portrays. I am a big fan of this frame and believe it would make a great gift as well. ... show more

The frame is pretty. However when I received it, there was a branded sticker right in the middle of the glass. It's a double pane glass so I don't know why they would put a sticker on it. Had to run out right away after receiving and buy goo-be-gone to remove it since it was for a gift.
