It sliced through the drywall like butter (maybe frozen butter), but was easy to maneuver and cut the shape that I was going for. The product is cheap (price wise), but the quality is good. I opted to get the jab saw for its price and multiple use opportunities. I needed it to make recessed lighting holes.
