I compare this hammer to the so liar weight Milwaukee hammer, this one looks just as good, has a side nail puller which the Milwaukee doesn't. The claw is a little bit thinner, less reinforced, but I think that's where the 3 oz weight difference comes in. I like how thin the claw is, it wedges in better between things. The handle feels great, after using it for a week I have no complaints and am very satisfied with it. ... show more

Solid “framing” hammer. Metal construction so slightly heavier than wood shafted frame hammers. Still balanced. Rubber handle slightly catches if you use tool belt, not as smooth as a wood shafted slide in. But with time it ok. Head isn’t smooth so keep that in mind when “bumping” wood in place. Use tap block. Like alot of things, Hammers are subjective to the end-user. Different uses, different hand types etc.. But this model was bent to side by 5deg (when looking from behind). While probably be a-ok hammering away, I like things straight/correct from factory. Also can test the vibration by pounding on a thick piece of wood, I used a 4x4 pressure treated scrap piece. Vibration was present, but better than a cheapo HF model. Ended up with a Dewalt forged 20oz hammer, this is way to go, wow!.. Almost no vibration in handle. ... show more
