  • Easy to assemble, very functional and sturdy
I ordered this for my daughter who has no pantry in her kitchen. This was a game changer for her! Not only did it hold everything she needed it to but it elevated the look of her kitchen by making it look way more organized than it ever has. It was every easy to assemble and very sturdy as well. It was well worth it's price to see the smile on my daughter's face. ... show more

  • This rack is fantastic
I have to start by saying that this is a bit frustrating to assemble but it just takes patience. It’s well worth the effort it takes to get put together. It offers so much space in a very classy design. The little features like the S hooks really add to the overall utility. I love that the feet at the bottom of the legs are adjustable making it very sturdy even if you have an uneven floor. The outlet is also super convenient. I can plug in my microwave and still have an outlet available for small kitchen appliances. It’s really improved the look and utility of my kitchen. ... show more

  • Functional and convenient
The bakers rack is easy to assemble with straightforward instructions. I use it as a coffee/tea bar. It offers a great vertical storage solution, which is perfect for maximizing space and keeping my countertops clear. The multi tiered design allows me to store and display various items, such as my coffee machine, syrup, coffee beans, and etc. I like how everything is organized and easily accessible. ... show more

  • It frees up a lot space for other appliances and or counter space!
Very steardy and gives the kitchen a more organized look to it! Only thing was the power strip did not work... but Amazon did handle the situation appropriately.

  • PITA to assemble! But looks amazing
Oh I have a *LOT* to say about this! Okay so the pictures are out of order, but they give a realistic experience of assembly. You **WILL** need a drill with a hex bit (4mm) and some glue (white or wood glue dries invisible and works great). So here is why: THIS IS A TWO-PERSON assembly job. I found that out the hard way. Aft first the assembly is easy. Put the two (stacking) shelves together and then attached them to make the complete "side bookcase" part. That you can do all alone and easily. No glue or drill/electric screwdriver required, but it does take a LOT of time. Now here is where it gets funky. When you have to attach the main pieces to the side bookshelf, the way these attach is flimsy, confusing, and likely to break (mine did all of these — hence the glue). You see if you look closely, the WAY the main shelves attache to the side bookcase is flimsy. You have tiny metal slats underneath that screw into hold these up from the bottom, meaning that these shelves CANNOT HOLD MUCH WEIGHT. I don't want you to be disappointed when you make this and it breaks when you load it up with items. All four of the main shelves are preciously attached to the "side bookcase" so you have to either not put anything heavy on them or reinforce the joints with glue and preferably a support beam on the bottom of each. Putting this together was such a pita I wish I had shot a video. Also, no matter how careful you are, it is easy to put something on backwards, and disassembling and reassembling it afterwards is dangerous and will make it wobble and snap. This (again) is where the glue comes in. I gave up after an hour of putting this together and pulled out the glue and *five times* glued narrow beads of glue, let them dry to clear, and glued again, each of the seams. It is almost invisible even upon close inspection, but it holds this together. The glue literally disappears after while (if you use a glue that contracts and dries clear). It WILL wobble, so try to assemble this close to where it will live. The top "grid" never installed correctly. That should provide structural integrity, but getting the holes to line up proved impossible, so mine "looks like it is screwed in at the top but is in fact not. In the instructions image where the two "e" screws are supposed to fit in, yeah, good luck with that. You might have better luck than I did. Similarly, the "c" dowels are the only things really holding the main shelves to the "side bookcase." Use glue in the holes, as those dowels are too small and wobble. Glue helps tremendously here. Also in the instructions, you can see all of the tiny plates you have to screw into the bottom of the shelves to connect them. These work, but not really all that well. if you can, glue a support bean to the joint if you don't want to experience shelf collapse. Did I mention how amazing this looks though? In the instruction sheet where it shows you assembling the main unit to the "side book case" using only (wobbly, too-small, non-glued dowels) AND THEN screwing on the tiny support plates — this was the evil step that breaks your shelving unit. You need to have it on the floor, on its side, and it wants to wobble and break — which is why you need two people on the job — and even if you manage to get through this part unscathed, you still have to stand the unit upright and move it! AND THAT is where it wobbles and warps uncontrollably, so take extra time and get some help carrying this (three people would be perfect for this step) or you will end up hating life. The very last step is to attach the x-braces, which do provide much-needed stability. I wish I had known this earlier. But all in all it is gorgeous when it is safely put interlace and you put (very light) items on it. Highly recommended. ... show more
