I reached out to see if Iron Flask would do anything about it and they said if I bought a replacement lid from Amazon and sent them the order # they would pay for it. I'm a flight attendant and I was tired of constantly using plastic water bottles. Another FA recommended this brand to me and after months of thinking about it (I have a kleen kanteen I was using) I finally got the 40oz. Iron Flask. I LOVE IT more than I ever imagined. It's easy to clean, easy to hold (I love the thick rubber loop on one of the tops), plus the spout where you put your mouth is covered with a cap (my other bottle's lid was constructed in a way that didn't cover the place where you put your mouth, it felt germie to me since I'm always having to lay it down on airplane seats etc.). I haven't run out of water on a flight yet, thanks to the 40oz size. It sort of reminds me of my old Nalgene but like 100 times better-- I dropped that sucker in flight and it cracked due to the pressure. I can tell this Iron Flask is way sturdier than that. I expect it to get beat up a bit but so far it seems like this bottle will last forever.

Replaced an old aluminum water bottle with this. I’ve enjoyed using this water bottle since I’ve gotten it. The coating on the bottle itself lacks some grip so I’ve definitely almost dropped it when holding it by the sides of the bottle. The multiple lid options that come with it is a nice bonus.

As much as I hate to take a star away, the fact that it doesn't come with a straw lid like what you see in the picture on my review is disappointing. Especially with it being a larger size, drinking it from a straw is much easier. Thankfully we have some of the smaller size (32oz I think) that came with the straw top so we were able to use that instead. Overall we still love this water bottle, especially with it being super hot in the summer time in Arizona. And the colors are great as well.

I'm not a fan of any of the 3 lids, but the bottle is overall quite good quality. I really wish the spout lid had a vent hole. If it did, this bottle would be just about perfect. The shipping lid has an almost unusable flip top. It's very very very stiff and I haven't figured out a way to make it usable. I ordered the same bottle for my wife in a different color and the same sipping lid was different and very usable. Go figure. The insulative feature works very well, with ice still in there the next day. It keeps drinks hot very well too.
