I work 10 hour days on a ranch and in the hot 100* summer days, it is impossible to keep hydrated! I was bringing more and more normal metal water bottles with me but the ice kept melting in the heat - even in the shade. I can't make myself drink anything but ice water. I bought the 64 oz straw Iron Flask bottle and love it! I fill it full of ice and water from home. The ice remains!!!! All day!!! That means when I run out of water, I can refill from the water spigot at the barn and keep going with ICE water! All ten hours! I lost it in a pasture last week and panicked. I love it so much I couldn't stand being without it so I ordered a second one. Found the first and now I'm one happy camper with TWO bottles - one to keep in the barn and one to take with me out in the fields. I absolutely love the colors too! I got the Aurora and Midnight versions. They come with 2 other lids but the straw is something I can drink from quickly even when my hands are occupied and the environment is dirty. I was tired of hot water on my cycling rides,and prime day arrived and I ordered 2 20oz and 1 40oz bottle from iron flask. They arrived and I filled one 20 and the 40 with ice and water. 24 hours later and through various settings (in the jeep, garage, apartment, garage again...) there is still plenty of ice in the bottle and this makes me really happy. I've not had a chance to try the 20oz on a blisteringly hot ride, but I'm confident it will hold up just fine. (I'll update when I do) The accessories included are great and my favorite part is the built in clip on the sippy lid. My only thought is, why didn't the name and logo people go with Fe instead of just F on the logo? Otherwise, I like the finish, the built in straw and sippy lid work great and overall I'm really happy with this purchase. Drawback? Picking a color was daunting as there are so many to choose from. Just got my bottle today 8/6/24 and so far it's amazing. I got the 64oz because I drink a lot of water. The straw is extremely easy to drink from, I love the etching they did of their logo and name, and so far it's working as expected. I've owned 8 different brands of bottles and after a while they get banged up and i have to get a new one, and this bottle is by far the best due to the ease of drinking. Also the straw cap has a spring loaded hook feature in case you want to hang it off of something. I won't use that feature, but it's good for those who want to hook to a backpack on a hike. ... show more

This is the first time I've purchased a thermos/drink bottle, and I'm quite pleased with it so far. Does what it says and keeps drinks cool for at least a day. I'm not sure I realized it would come with additional lids of different styles, but I suppose those can come in hand depending on what you're using the thermos for (or personal preference, maybe?). I'm currently just using the flip-up top with the straw attachment which seems more than sufficient, but I suppose I'll figure out what the other ones are for in due time. The finish on this is awesome as well, I chose the Aurora 22oz bottle and it looks awesome! I have 4 now, still use my original after 3+ years, just like to have multiples to rotate. Love that it is leak proof when sealed, keeps ice for over 24 hours, lighter weight (easier to carry!) than others (yeti etc). Also the 40 ounce holds enough water and ice for a 10-12 hour shift that I don't have to keep refilling it constantly. I feel weird about using straw lids, so I use the spout lid and add a reusable straw so I can sip without having to chug from the bottle (academy sports Magellan throwback straws are the perfect length (10.75 inches) to drop in and still close the lid and reach the straw when you open it). I used Hydro Flask before, and this Iron Flask tops it by far. Price is $27 bT, where Hydro Flask is #32 bT. It comes with 3 optional lids, Stainless screw cap, straw, and Flip lid, where HF comes with only one. And also, lids screw on much smoother. I always had a problem with HF lid thread. It was very coarse, and locks on tilted often, very annoying. Iron Flask does not have that problem, screws on and off with ease. Only reason I gave 4 stars is I want to see a longer term. I’ve had my pink bottle for two years and it’s only a tiny bit dented on the bottom due to my clumsy self dropping it on concrete constantly. The paint has only chipped a tiny bit because I hand wash the bottle as directed (the paint chips are also from me dropping the bottle.) It keeps drinks cold for an incredibly long time. Yesterday I had it on me in 110 degree weather for hours and it still had some ice cubes intact at the end of the day. I ended up changing the lid a few times because someone in my family melted to original straw in the dishwasher . The lid it comes with doesn’t leak at all. I came back to buy more colors and sizes. This is just as good (if not better) than hydroflasks and Stanley’s for way less money. Buy it! ... show more

I love my Ironflask. It's gone with me thousands of miles and lasted for seven years. I put a coozie on mine to make it thump less when you set it down. I clean it with citric acid powder (lemon juice works too) and the included cleaning stick. It keeps my water cold all day. I can carry it with one finger by the carabiner OR no hands by hooking it to my belt loop. It's easy to drink from because you don't even have to unscrew the lid.
