I washed it (hand washed) then put Lid back on to see where to place Lid , Lid would not open anymore, I tried for 30min. then went to have my Husband try to open it (I hate doing this)! He also failed. that Lid was not going to open up. It went out with the Trash

2.5 stars, it's not great a keeping things hot for more than a couple of hours, by about 10:00 my coffee is pretty much cold. Another review said something about the handle being pretty flimsy which I thought wouldn't bother me but it is annoying, it's very thin making it hard to get a good grip and not big enough for you to slide all four fingers through. I don't dislike the product enough to return it but I definitely would not purchase it again. ... show more

I bought this mug for myself for Christmas. I was looking for a 16oz mug with a handle that I could take in the car. This one had pretty good reviews and I loved the purple color. When I got it, I was very impressed with the design. Today, I took it out to use it. I put my coffee in at 9am. It stayed very hot throughout my morning (so hot that I couldn't drink it!). When I got home at 2:30, I decided to see how it was, figuring it would be ice cold. To my surprise, it was still hot! A drinkable hot now. 5 1/2 hours it stayed hot! That is very impressive to me, especially for the price and quality. I will be adding another color to my birthday wish list because I like it so much. I use this every morning to bring coffee to work. It keeps it nice & hot. Very easy to clean. Mine doesn’t leak. I really like the color combination. The only problem I have is, I’m left handed & I can’t seem to put the top on properly for me to be able to hold it in my left hand.
