It’s made from quality steal. The lid with the small hole & straw is thick to keep it cold and has ONLY enough room for the straw in case you tip it over. It is doubly awesome because that straw hole is small enough to allow me to easily put my finger over the hole and shake up my drink when I use a powdered drink instead of stirring with a spoon (doesn’t work well) or using the other top to shake it when I want to use the straw top. The other lid (flip top) is also well made and has a fairly small sip hole which also prevents BIG spills and can also be used with the straw. I haven’t had any leaking from the flip top lid or from any of the seals around the edges. It is metal and if you dented really badly that might prevent a seal. I love the outside surface- it’s beautiful and it has a matte surface so it will NOT easily slip in your hand and it does not have any condensation from icy cold beverage inside. This is one of my FAVORITE purchases ever from AMAZON- I rarely review anything and I do not give fluffy slanted reviews- if it’s good exalt it. If it’s bad, I burn it to ashes. Honest reviews only.

The flask is amazing! We got reusable ice cubes to go along with it, and it kept everything right out of the fridge cold for 10 hours! I love that it comes with reusable straws, but we don't use them too much. The lid it comes with works just fine. It has a tight seal when closed to ensure nothing spills. You could throw it across the room, and it's not coming off. I don't recommend actually doing that. However, when it says hand wash only, it means it. One of the straws accidentally made its way into the dishwasher, it did survive, but everything tasted like soap coming out of it. We couldn't remove that soap taste no matter what we did. I recommend rinsing it well and with cold water to avoid getting a left over soap taste in the flask as well. If you notice it rewash it and it's good as new.

As you can see I have the 40oz which is my water cup, I had a Stanley but with two large dogs and being clumsy it got pretty banged up in the four months I had it, but my IronFlask cup has survived all of the same abuse and still looks brand new. My 24oz cup I use for iced coffee or smoothies, and when I say it keeps my drinks COLD it keeps them COLD. I can put ice in my water cup in the morning and most of it will still be there by the end of the day even after refilling. My 20oz is strictly for hot coffee and tea, it keeps it super hot so I usually have to keep the lid off for a few minutes before I seal it up and go. Overall these cups are my favorite of all time. I have used Stanley, Hydroflask, and Yeti but none of them can compare to these cups. I wouldn't say they're 100% leak proof but I definitely have to turn the cups almost upside down for any leakage. Zero scratches, zero dents, the newest cup is my 24oz, oldest is 40oz. I love all the colors but I have to refrain from buying all the cups. The size range is phenomenal compared to Yeti who supposedly has the best sizes (WRONG). And the rubber grip on the bottom is a life saver, I don't have to worry about a tail hitting the cup and it sliding AND tipping over. Overall these cups are solid, reliable, and do not disappoint.

I received my 32 oz. "Dark Rainbow" (pretty!) IRON °FLASK tumbler yesterday and feel compelled to write this review to encourage you to get your own NOW! I live in the sultry south where heat and humidity will turn your ice-filled glass into a watery drink within minutes. Initially, I bought this to use as sort of an "individual" ice bucket so I could refill the ice in my glass of tea without getting up every five minutes of a Prime-binge, especially any compelling thriller. Indeed, for the first night of having this beauty, that is precisely how I used it—and it worked perfectly. At the end of the night, I left ONE lone ice cube in the tumbler to see how it would fare. Twelve hours later, that solitary ice cube is only partially melted and still icy cold! The tumbler itself comes with two straws, and two lids: one for use with a straw and one flip-top for use with hot drinks (or if you just prefer to drink directly from the tumbler). Each top is very thick—I've never had a tumbler where the top is designed to also provide insulation. All-in-all, I am very impressed with the quality and functionality of this tumbler. I only write reviews when I am deeply disappointed with a product to serve as a buyer-beware herald, or am over-the-moon pleased and what to provide fellow shoppers to confidently purchase. Happily, this tumbler is the latter. I haven't tried it in my car's cupholder as yet, but believe it will easily fit there as well. Also, there was ZERO condensation when the cup was filled to the brim with ice and none when I checked that solo melting ice cube this afternoon. I love that I can place the cup on any surface without worrying about damage to the finish. NOTE TO MANUFACTURER: I still would like to find a mini-ice bucket (48-50 oz. would be ideal, and not more than 5" diameter) to use when I just want to drink from a glass, and don't want to haul out my big ice bucket. I am convinced that YOU are the manufacturer to create the perfect mini-bucket for a chair-side refill. I would gladly be your first customer. Thanks!

Pros: + Spill resistant lid. The lid is screwed on and won't fall off. The only liquids that could come out are through the straw, and maybe a tiny bit through the straw hole. + Keeps liquids cold for as long as i'd hope + Pleasant color options Cons: -Can tip over easily at times. The non-slip rubber feet on the bottom doesn't actually encompass the entire diameter of the bottom. If it did, it would be more stable and less prone to tipping.
