What can I say about this soap, you either like it or not. I personally love this soap and the smell. Like I said in the headline, Costco which sold it for slightly less quit...why no one seems to know.. maybe some new manager thought he'd push some other smelly soap. Value is comparable so don't let that be the determining factor....there are 20 bars in this. I don't have sensitive skin so it is fine. If you do you might buy a singe bar and try. I just know I appreciate the smell when I sweating up a storm at work. The original bars years ago had more residual scent but I like in the shower. There will be soap scum in the tub over time so you are not getting a break there. ... show more

Smells good and rinses off clean. No soft residue left over like some of those girly soaps or even ivory. This soap is better.

This is the classic ORIGINAL SCENT and not the updated ORIGINAL CLEAN scent which is good. However, this formula is not the greatest. the scent is not as crisp. May be made in Mexico? Anyways, its the closest to the real original that I can find so Ill have to deal with it.

I wouldn't use this on my skin, it's too strongly scented and drying, however I highly recommend it for use in your garden to get rid of destructive animals. I cut bars into pieces and hang them in little muslin bags. Rabbits stay away from our flowers, and even deer and chipmunks don't come by as much as they used to. ... show more

I have been buying different soaps on Amazon for a few years now. Irish Spring is the one soap I've purchased that has not been changed over the years. Some soaps have been altered in shape so that they're smaller, or the scent has been changed. Irish Spring has the same great smell, the price is very reasonable and it's the same size it has always been. My family loves it. I haven't noticed any extra moisturizing properties in it but, I always lotion up after a bath or shower. ... show more

This soap used to be bigger with that great mountain smell, but now it's just like any other soap, I buy it because is still good price from some sellers, but the deodorant is really low
