I would imagine that it is pretty hard to screw up body wash. But the lid is the big killer here. It pours out too much body wash unless you are incredibly careful and thinking in the shower. Which if you’re like me, the majority of my showers a week are after I just woke up and not even close to being on my thinking game. I have 5 other body wash containers currently in my bathroom and the diameter of the hole on the Irish Spring bottle is two times the diameter of the rest. All the other body washes are basically the same size. Now there is no way that Colgate-Palmolive who owns the Irish Spring brand and who do billions in revenue know exactly what they are by this. Tons of R&D are put into these things. And they came up with this Gotcha idea to make you run out of body wash faster. This was entirely by design, of that, I am convinced. The problem is the only thing they have going for them is price point ie cheap. And that goes out the door if you’re always pouring too much out because of the bottle’s design. Otherwise, it is rather strong and cheap smelling. Reminds me of what it might smell like sitting in a garden while Conner McGregor punches and smash all the flowers. It looks like blue metallic goo that would come out of a shot alien in a movie. Enticing! But perhaps the best part of the bottle is (if you can read it) the ridiculous product description on the back that could have been written in an elevator by J. Peterman himself. “Picture yourself being hydrated by a raging waterfall… Irish Spring Moisture Blast body wash is kinda like that. Only fresher”(!) Let us just break this down a bit. First, if I’m going to hydrate myself, I’d want to you know probably drink the water from the waterfall. You know, to rehydrate. But it might be hard to get said water as it’s a raging waterfall, so I’d have to be careful. Also, if I’m going to picture myself in a waterfall while in the shower, I am preettty sure I’m getting that experience from the showerhead and the water and not the soap. Plus, I would not want it raging as that sounds like it would hurt and be dangerous. So, no Irish Spring, it's not kinda like that. And no, the chemicals in your product don’t make me feel “fresher” either. Not with sodium chloride in there. Since when does Salt help hydrate or make you feel “fresher”? It does the reverse! So, I have what I call the “cheesesteak test” and that’s a Philly cheesesteak to most. There are 3 things need for a good Philly cheesesteak: the meat, properly chopped rib-eye with cheese whiz and an Amoroso roll, or a very good quality equivalent. Seems easy right? It’s not. People get this wrong all the time especially the roll. And you just don’t have a proper Philly steak without getting those 3 right. In Irish Spring’s case, the main factor I’m giving them a low score on is the “roll” or the packaging. It just doesn’t work for me. It’s an intentional design to make you waste wash. So 1* of 5*. My bf doesn't get attached to skin care products but this moisture wash is his favorite and he even asked me to order him another 2 pack when he ran out. To be clear it isn't all Irish Spring body washes he likes. He bought one from the store and after his 1st use he realized it wasn't the same. It's only this formula with the moisturizing that he can feel makes a difference on his skin. Good product ... show more

    • Its a great body wash with a great scent
I tried this body wash and I loved it. It has great scent but doesn't linger after the shower, washes up great and leaves your skin feeling fresh moist. I will recommend it to anyone who wants a body wash that doesn't dry your skin out and keeps you fresh. Its a great body wash that I use every day.
