As far as soap goes I have no complaints. I purchased this for cleaning my bathtub because a lot of people were using it for soap scum and it didn’t do so great on that, but we enjoyed the scent and quality. We felt clean and moisturized afterwards more so than bar soap.

I saw a post on Reddit about a bathtub stain and people were joking about telling the poster about the secret cleaner. Curious I kept reading and learned Irish Spring 5-1 is great for stains, soap scum, and other cleaning purposes as well as a body wash. It can even be used as a shampoo and has a conditioner in it. Skeptical, I ordered a bottle and tried it. First of all I loved the clean fresh smell it left in my bathroom. Second, I loved how it cleaned soap scum off of my glass doors. Even though it's supposed to be for men I tried it as a body wash. Wow! It was refreshing and made my razor glide across my legs while shaving. I can't believe this product has been marketed for men all these years and we women have missed the benefits! So getting really courageous I tried it as a shampoo. It was amazing! It's the first time I've felt like all the product was stripped out of my hair and my scalp felt amazingly clean. I did not have to use a cream rinse and a comb went right through my hair without tangles. I thought sure repeated use would dry my hair out, however it shines more than it ever has! I love Irish Spring and I love the fact that it comes in this big body wash. I feel nice and clean and the smell opens up my nostrils and I feel invigorated. I only wish it was a little bit more moisturizing as it does say it’s supposed to be moisturizing. So I do need to use a moisturizer after I take my shower with this. Not a big deal, but some other body washes are a lot more moisturizing.. I find it’s better to use this than the soap bar. Which dries especially if I’m away for a few days.. the bottle will last me a very long time! ... show more
