I bought it because I need something like this, I had already bought it in another store, but when I arrived and opened it, it was broken, why? Well the manufacturer sends it with very little protection. I returned it and bought another one but this time on Amazon, and this one when opening it, guess what? Ordered two of these and when I received them it was extremely disappointing! Every single drawer was cracked, unusable. The plastic they made it from looks very very very cheap and even if you get it without any damage it does not seem it will last very long. Now I have to pick up plastic pieces that came out of the box and return these two really big packages. Really Disappointing, Garbage, and a Big Waste of Time... ... show more

These are great for "light storage". The drawers will not close fully if you overload them with anything heavy. The back the sections begin to sag, thus causing unit drawers NOT to close fully. When this happens, you have to reach behind the drawers, individually, and lift the sagging section so the drawers close. I often pinch my fingers when doing this, but if you can get past the occasional pinching and manual adjustment, you might like these....I will try to upload images of these, to include part where the catching happens. :) ... show more

There is a plastic piece that perhaps is supposed to support the weight of the drawer; however, when you add something to the drawer, it bends down and prevents you from closing the drawer directly underneath. This was the main issue with the Sterlite brand (drawers getting in the way) so there was no benefit to spending the extra money for this brand. ... show more

I like the IRIS Drawer Carts. The Wides I have 1 3drawer 2 5Drawer 1 6drawer the Regs I have 1 10 drawer 1 7 drawer these Drawer carts are way better than the Sterilite ones, the IRIS are allot sturdier. The plastics a little denser than the sterilite ( Go to Wally World and check for yourself). Only drawback is the shipping, the farther you are from the shipping warehouse the more chances it has to get damaged. I only had one of the 5 drawers damaged out of all of them. I really like these, I keep all my 1/35th scale Armor Stuff in them.(small tools, photo etch, figures, conversions, Friulmodel Tracks, Paint, Diorama stuff, etc). They work really well for that. If you do get one damaged take it to the UPS store ship it back and order another one. They're worth it, Just watch the prices they go up and down....From stupid to just right... ... show more

I was so eager to get this. Made in USA, made of plastic (using it in the bathroom--higher humidity), and good storage for shampoos, body washes, hair products, etc. I neatly organized the drawers, pushed them closed, no go. They bounce back. The wouldn't close. I didn't have anything too tall or overflowing & couldn't understand why they wouldn't close. I took everything out, pulled the storage container out of the closet, turned it around, and found out why. That half-circle-shaped piece of plastic bows up if there is any kind of weight in the drawer. That was the obstruction. I took everything out except a bag of cotton balls and Q-tips and it closed fine. Added a 5 pack of toothpaste (yes, I'm a Sam's shopper), and it wouldn't close. Now I'm going to have to pack it up, head to a UPS store (20 minutes away) and return it. I wish I'd read the reviews before buying! ... show more

The first one arrived with damaged box and corner of unit frame was fractured in several areas. I quickly ordered a replacement. The second unit arrived with no wheels. I was able to take the wheels from the first unit before returning. The second unit had 2 cracked drawers. My daughter was leaving for college the next day so she is using a unit with 2 fractured drawers. The drawers and frame are super flimsy. I would not recommend this unit. The sterilite units are much better.. ... show more

My first one arrived with 3 of 4 of the drawers completely cracked and shattered at the corners during transit. The plastic is flimsy. This is not for use/abuse/heavy items. Drawers will sag and frame isn't overly strong. I use this to replace the shelving drawers we had all our medications and supplies in for our mobile vet home visits. These drawers are bigger and hold a lot more and are more clear/easy to see into. I got the snap together dividers on amazon and it works a lot better than having a jumble of medication bottles and boxes. I built a 3/4 inch plywood base with handles for under this for carrying in/out of the vehicle each day. When placed in the van I use a cargo strap around it vertically to keep the drawers from dumping out forward and a loop of rope with a clip to go around it once horizontally to prevent tipping. The system is working well but you definitely have to baby it and not use heavy items and DO NOT bump/bang the edges/corners. I could see it working for clothing/soft items or in a craft room for not heavy items if it is treated carefully. The return/replacement of the broken first unit was very easy. KEEP YOUR BOX or you will be charged shipping if dropping off at a UPS center. I'm keeping this one's box until the return window ends in case it breaks/fails. It's attractive and so far no real bowing but we don't put in heavy items or stack significant items on top. ... show more
