These miniature stretched canvas are not just for kids. Adults can use them too. In my opinion, these are very good quality and will not break down or shrink. They are very large staples that hold the canvas to the back. You get 90 in a box as described. Thereβs no need for a frame unless you want one. These are great for putting on a small easel on a desk or making a collage on the wall. There are so many ideas that can be done with these. Once done with your painting, you can put little jewels on the side for an added effect.

I have used these now with acrylic paint and watercolor paint, and they are good quality. Theyβre exactly as stated, and my crafty kids and I are thrilled with the quantity. Buying in bulk was a good idea for us - and if you paint a lot, too, I recommend these.

If you're using the 16" x 16" canvas for painting, the exact dimensions probably don't matter. However I'm using them to mount perler beads to the canvas. When I do a perler project, I factor in exactly how many beads fit on a canvas, even taking into consideration shrinkage as they melt. I finished a large project that went exactly 16 inches side to side and was going to be a gift. I opened the box tonight and laid my project out only to discover it hung over the edge. Didn't matter the orientation. I thought I may have made a mistake but then compared it to one of my 16x20 canvases and it fit perfectly on the 16 inch side. I busted out the ruler as in the photo and it's a half inch short. These are great for the money, world's cheaper than anywhere else I found. They aren't super nice, but I could have lived with that. I can't however live with them not actually being the advertised size because that makes them worthless for my purposes.

These canvases are an awesome budget-friendly option for an aspiring painter, or a teacher looking to supply a class. They are a comfortable size and good quality, and are just what we needed.

12 canvasses (12 x 16) for $69 make for 1 canvas for $5.75 per canvas. The canvasses are light, made out of cotton, and definitely need an additional layer of gesso. A bit on the pricey side as student canvasses (which these are) can be purchased for a lesser price for the same quality. Not well suited for heavier paints. Good for practice.
