My wife really loves the pattern on these plates, the multi level tree art is really nice. They were also very well packaged with thin sheet foam between each plate and a good wrap of bubble wrap around the stack, tucked nicely in a box. As one reviewer pointed out, the bottom unglazed lip was a little rougher than any other plate we've had so we opted to continue using the foam sheet between them when not in use to be safe and prevent any scratches. The only thing that really disappointed us was that 1 of the 4 plates is a different physical style than the other 3! I tried to make it clear in the photo, but basically one of them has a steeper edge between the center divot and the plate's outer edge. The other 3 have a softer blended ledge between those two features. Had we not received this item free to review I probably would have given only 3 stars, but honestly the design is great and the issue we had doesn't appear to be a common issue based on other reviews. The media could not be loaded. I was looking for dinner plates that I could use every day or for special occasions and they are great for both. I like the raised textured design and weight of the plates. I will definitely be using them everyday.

The media could not be loaded. I got these to go with my subtly, silver, iridescent ceramic appetizer plates. I’ve always liked designs with tree branches and this one caught my eye. I like the minimal design, and the iridescence that you catch with the changes in light, make it special. The reason why I’m dinging it a star is that the base of the plate is not constructed well. Two of the four plates have tiny chips. It wasn’t from shipping, they were packed carefully. For the cost of $7.25 a plate, still a good deal for how much I like the design. * The photos are after I hand washed them, and the painted design did not fade. I’m not sure how they’d do in a dishwasher. IMO, I wouldn’t recommend these for a daily use, rather for special meals. ... show more
