I got this so I could use 1.8"/3.5mm headphone cable on headphones and speakers. I like the fact it has both Lightning and USB-C connectors, so should work with most modern devices. Not much else to say. It works as described, seems to be well made.

This adapter lets me use the same earbuds with my tablet and phone, which is great. There doesn't seem to be any effect on music quality (no static). My buds don't have in-line controls, so I can't speak to how well those would work. The dongle has a braided cord, and a metal base on the jack.
