This little guide is a cute, attractive helper that could be useful for seniors struggling with setting up their first iPhone. It’s based on the iPhone 15, in its various iterations, and is much more complete than the user guide that comes in the box. The Kindle version, unlike the one in the box, has the advantage of being able to be enlarged by expanding the screen image, which can’t be done with the paper instructions in the box. It’s visually a series of screen captures rather than the usual Kindle format, which is kind of a cute idea. If you’re buying this for Grandma to go along with her new phone, it could be very helpful to load it on her tablet to read while she is setting up the phone. I got this book to Gove to my parents because I have finally convinced them to switch to iPhones. This book is visually pleasing to read. The font is clear and that is great for older eyes. There is bold type setting off the different sections making it very easy to see changes in topic. There are also pictures and diagrams when appropriate. The author starts by explaining all the exterior features of the iPhone. Then we get into the inner features, like how to use the camera and set up iCloud. There is also info on how to stay safe and vigilant, which I know is a huge concern for my parents. We found this book helpful and easy to read. ... show more

I first bought the Jamie Dennis Iphone 15 For Seniors and was very disappointed! Very small type size and illustrations almost unreadable. Than bought the Lukas Worley Iphone 15 For Seniors -much easier to ready and the illustrations are much easier to see and understand. It could use another chapter or two on how to connect to a Wi-Fi enabled printer? and how to scan a QR code. ... show more

This book has no index. Its writers want you to read it like a novel. But if you have a problem, you can’t go to an index to solve your problem. Imagine an instruction book with no index! Stupid.
