I ordered a kindle oasis in February but it won’t be delivered until the last week of March. I ordered this user. Manual at the same time, it is very informative instructions, can’t wait for the delivery of the oasis so I can use the device.

The Oasis is my second Kindle. I am still learning the new platform. It was not a transparent upgrade for me. I need a reference to see how familiar features are implemented and supported. This guide provides some help.

I am thoroughly enjoying this device Right now recovering from falls and surgery and am not at home. This unit is helping me stay busy and involved with something other than myself. There are so any books, many free, to read so no danger of running out. It's bright, or whatever light you need; font can be decreased or increased to suit. I love it. I purchased this guide the same week in July, 2023 that I purchased the Kindle Oasis. The book was published on July 19, 2023, so I assumed that it would relate to my new Kindle. If your technical aptitude is very high, you may be able to translate this book into a format that you understand, but if you don’t have the ability to translate the instructions to what you must actually do, you will be, as I am, lost, and will find the book useless. Very few of the instructions make sense. On page 1, you will be told to “tap the Quick Action icon (symbol) located on the toolbar, and then select All Settings.” But there are no instructions as to where the icon is, or where the toolbar is, for you to find “All Settings.” This is not an isolated example, but an annoyance that occurred for me on nearly every page of this book! Even if it had contained an index, it would have referred to directions that have no relevance to this 10th generation Oasis firmware version Kindle 5.16.2.1. ... show more

I like this so much that I ordered a second one so I can charge one while reading on the other one. It is very easy on the eyes. Also like that it is light weight.
