***UPDATE 06/20/23!! **** Just wanted to follow up on my prior review of this hub. Never did get it working but I wanted to convey how incredible the customer service as been from Baseus. After some initial troubleshooting frustration, not only did Baseus offer to replace the unit or refund it, but they even offered a no-cost replacement of a different product. These folks really believe in and stand behind what they are manufacturing. Keep in mind, I did not have to stay on top of them about this. They proactively have been reaching out to me and trying to make this right. My customer service person is Jackie and she has been nothing but kind and professional in working this out. I am awaiting a replacement 9-in-1 hub and will try this out. Hoping that I can utilize 2 of these instead of the single 17-in-1 I was trying out initially. Bottom line - Baseus had me unhappy with the defective product but their customer service is so outstanding, I am eager to try again and see how it goes! **************************************** Original review: Plugged in my USB connectors that I previously had in a hub that died. The only thing that works is the HDMI to my monitor. This hub is connected to my MacBook Pro and I've used both the included UBS-C cable designed as the hub-to-host as well as another USB-C that I used successfully with my prior hub. Not a single port seems to function at all EXCEPT the HDMI. I've tried plugging in others 1 at a time. Nope. Nothing. Also have double-checked the USB connections with a smaller 3-port hub and the same devices work fine using that one. I will try tech support to see what can be done but this product is, so far, a huge disappointment. It's not like there is much to do/configure with regards to a USB hub. Normally they just work.     • Good port replicator. Make sure your laptop supports USB-C type 3/4 or the HDMI ports will not work.
All of the USB ports work, the memory card reader's work. HDMI ports require a laptop that supports USB-C type 3 -DP1.1/1.4 or type 4 - Thunderbolt A plain USB-C type 1 - data only will NOT operate the HDMI ports. Only downside is the device requires a separate USB-C PD cable. The supplied power brick only supports the docking station. ... show more

    • The best customer support I have encountered in quite some time
I just cannot say enough about the outstanding support that I received from Lava from Baseus. It appeared that my LG Gram Laptop was not compatible with the docking station. After troubleshooting with Microsoft, and then LG, LG told me their Laptop is not compatible with docking stations. So I contacted Baseus who painstakingly troubleshooted with me. As a last resort a replacement docking station. It resolved the compatibility issue! I could not be more pleased with the Baseus docking station! And a big thank you to Lava! ... show more

Pro : 1. Work with Microsoft Surface Pro 9 and Asus ROG Strix 2. Work with USB C External monitor (Asus Zen Screen) but you must use the right USB C cable. Con : 1. Overheat when in use 2. HDMI sometimes problem. I prefer to connect the HDMI directly to my laptop 3. USB C work fine. But the speed is only 5 Gigabit per second ... show more

    • No Manufacturers Updated Drivers
I do not like writing negative reviews, however I am troubled by the fact that the manufacturer has not come out with a driver that corrects some of the issues. The most obvious one I will discuss today is the flickering and now loosing connection to the monitors. The computer is a brand new 64-bit machine with 32g memory, running Windows 11 Pro and all the updated Intel drivers. The flickering was an issue from the beginning, it's random which screen will go out from time to time. It's been progressively getting worse, now I am completely losing connection to the monitors. The monitors randomly go blank and the only way to get it back is to Reboot or unplug the HDMI cable and then plug it back in. This is especially annoying when you're in the middle of a project and you have something on every monitor. Unplugging causes the orientation of the monitors to mess up, not good. Rebooting, well we all know what that requires when you have programs open on every monitor. There is no place to report the issues that I know of and when contacting the manufacturer, you get no response. My question, do they even know this is a problem and do they care?
