I’ve had this case on my IPad mini for over a year now and the case has kept my iPad looking brand new. I take it into the shower with me and all over the house. It’s been dropped numerous times and it has done an excellent job protecting my iPad. The stand is great because it is fully adjustable and the little ring on the back makes it easy to hold the iPad one handed. There are always compromises. To get this level of protection, you give up speaker volume and it adds quite a bit of weight and bulk. I use my ipad mini as a director’s monitor on commerical and indie film productions. With this case I can have total peace of mind as the tablet gets jostled around set. The lanyard strap is also convenient for the director/producer, as is the kickstand and finger ring. IP68 rating is a huge plus! It was also important to me that the case could be easily removed and reattached often, as I prefer the airy smart folio for the ipad when off-set. I HIGHLY recommend this case if you’re searching for something that’s waterproof. As some reviews state, it does affect the sound a bit, but in my opinion, not by much. It still gets plenty loud for my child with hearing loss to hear WITHOUT her hearing aids in.
