This is awesome for the price! I didn't buy it for the waterproof-ness, I bought it to use in my open-top Jeep on extremely dusty trails. I had previously purchased the extremely expensive Otter Box and have always been super disappointed with it. It has holes all over it, especially in the screen protector for the sensors (which don't matter at all in a dusty jeep). Dust would get under the screen protector in minutes and be "crunchy" against the screen while touching. I'd remove the iPad from the case after a trip and it looked like it might as well just been exposed to the dust on its own. Silly. I found and purchased this item and figured that if it is waterproof, it must be dust proof. And it is. Gloriously dust proof. I spent almost two weeks driving on dusty roads and trails behind other jeeps with pile of dust covering everything I own. I'd blow dust off the outside of this case like I was Indiana Jones uncovering relics from hundreds of years ago. Yet, no crunchy touching on the screen. When I finally got home and released it from the case it looked like it had been on my bedside table the entire time. Not a spec of dust on it, perfectly protected. I wish I could get the money back that I spent on the Otter Box, but regardless, I'm really glad I found this and that it costs so much less. Good job! ... show more

I didn’t have high hopes for this case, but completely exceeded my expectations! Fits very well and when you squeeze the air out of the screen, it feels amazing. It is not too bulky and able to hold comfortably. Strap could definitely be upgraded but it will work for now.

I’ve had this case on my IPad mini for over a year now and the case has kept my iPad looking brand new. I take it into the shower with me and all over the house. It’s been dropped numerous times and it has done an excellent job protecting my iPad. The stand is great because it is fully adjustable and the little ring on the back makes it easy to hold the iPad one handed. There are always compromises. To get this level of protection, you give up speaker volume and it adds quite a bit of weight and bulk. It works great and the strap is super useful, since I do colorguard and I need my hands free to spin or help the kids out, or to clap. I can turn my iPad on and off easily with the buttons accessible, and it keeps my device dry when it starts to rain or I'm sweaty from the heat. I use my ipad mini as a director’s monitor on commerical and indie film productions. With this case I can have total peace of mind as the tablet gets jostled around set. The lanyard strap is also convenient for the director/producer, as is the kickstand and finger ring. IP68 rating is a huge plus! It was also important to me that the case could be easily removed and reattached often, as I prefer the airy smart folio for the ipad when off-set.
