I needed a sneaker for taking my dog for a walk where I wouldn't have to worry about my feet getting soaking wet. I like canvas but that wouldn't offer the same level of protection that a solid material would. I didn't really care what they looked like as long as they kept my feet dry. Well, these fit the bill perfectly. I got them in the silver at a bargain price and couldn't be happier because they not only fit the need but are super cute too. Silver is an "in" color right now, (or so my niece told me), and these look adorable with casual shorts, capris, skirts, and pants. Bought these specifically for basic traveling inexpensive/decent looking simple canvas sneakers. They look clean and neat out of the box. I just tucked the laces in the shoes after slipping them on and went. They were reasonably comfortable. It looks like you could cut off the side branding of “rocket dog” and it would look even cleaner. I’d also prefer if the rear lower heel’s branded rubber heat stamp “rocket dog” was left off the design, but it’s fine. One branding point in all white would be preferred if it’s important to the brand. The outer sole on the bottom side of the shoe or an all-white on white version of the current side tag would be nice. Overall, these shoes got me through my trip. I didn’t need to add additional insole cushions. I only started experiencing some calf strain on day 4 or 5 with heavy walking. My normal size tends to be US 6 in women’s sneakers, but I ordered 6.5 for these and was happy with that choice since inflammation can happen easily during travel. I appreciated the quality of the shoes and the fairly simple design for the under $35 price point. You’re not getting the fanciest design, but you’re not getting the cheapest quality either. I’ve always been a solid 7.5 but sometimes 8 fits well too. I read reviews and Amazon suggested to grab an 8 so I did, I definitely wish I would have stuck to my gut on the 7.5! I absolutely Looooove these shoes. I always want ro wear these. They are so comfortable. At first they seemed a little tight around the toes but after about the first or second time wearing them they wear so comfortable. I keep the laces tied and tuck them inside under the tongue so I just slip them on my feet now. And they basically go with everything! I had to get the white pair as well! ... show more

They’re so cute but man, I wore them one weekend and tripped over my own foot, and the side color was ripped off. Didn’t think they’d be so easy to damage. I imagine they won’t last long (the decor) but I really love them. They run a little small so keep that in mind ❤️

I'm always apprehensive about ordering shoes online. Sizes vary so much, its hard to make good choices. I've been a fan of Rocket Dog for years and rarely been disappointed. They're roomy, especially in the toe area, and thats why I keep going back to them. I wear a size 10, and thats what I ordered. These will be used for work, and casual outfits, and I wanted a shoe I could wear socks with COMFORTABLY. Thats a tall order when you have big feet, like me. These are perfect, well padded and roomy. I wore them today, with thick socks. Very comfortable, no rubbing in any area. They do have memory foam insoles and thats a real plus! Just a great pair of casual tennis shoes overall. Considering purchasing different colors. I would say they run a tad on the large side based on size. Plenty of room for socks in my size 10. Rocket Dog does a great job! ... show more
