Given that the iPad is not particularly intuitive, it is not unexpected that any book pretending to explain how to use the iPad is going to have problems. In my opinion it is too wordy and fails to organize its information in an easily digested format. I would say that if one is familiar with the iPad or similar devices, then this book may be of some value. For those of us who despair of figuring out how to access the most basic features that the iPad is said to possess, this book just adds to the torment. ... show more

I consider myself "computer savvy" however, this has nothing to do with the book or the seller. I have an iPad and am having a lot of trouble learning to use it! At our church, I put a movie of the the two services out on the internet and a podcast. I have a MAC, so what's the problem? Just old person can't get it ... hee hee hee! God bless! ... show more

It has been a help to my mom who lives a few states away and is trying to learn how to use her ipad air. She is in her late eighties and this book has cut down on her questions to me. I can also give her some key words to look up if I am at work via her now knowing how to text.

The book was more technical than I expected. There were a lot of illustrations of the screens in the book, but they are so small I had to use a magnifying glass to read them which I found annoying and frustrating, particularly since it is meant to be used by SENIORS like me whose eyesight isn't what it used to be. ... show more
