I bought this almost a year ago and am coming back to leave a review. For reference, I have an iPad 8. This is a good solid case, does the job admirably as advertised. I’m very satisfied and if I ever have to get a replacement I’ll come right back here. It’s definitely water resistant if not waterproof. I wouldn’t drop it in a pool and leave it but it’s okay to use it in the bath. Of the various abuses I’ve put it through, I’ve brought it to my microbiology lab, spilled isopropyl alcohol on it, washed it after someone sneezed on it (during the height of COVID) which then became semi regular washings in the sink, my kid spilled juice on it…throughout it all, this case has survived. I’ve even dropped it on tile from about 4 ft. iPad was absolutely fine. The one issue I have is that the face scratches easily. If you’re using this as a note taking device, watch out for scratches. The front face bows out a bit so sometimes you have to press down with the pencil. bought a film to cover the face and cut it down to fit the front. For me, the sensitivity is unaffected and the pencil still works just fine. The case also adds a bit of weight. It’s sturdy but a little heavy. Also have to crank the volume up. Like I said, I would repurchase this case again and I definitely recommend it. It’s still in great shape after a year, though I’m starting to get a little nervous washing it in the sink.

This is very sturdy. But it’s extremely difficult to turn the iPad on and off and to use the buttons on the side because the case is so thick. I can’t imagine that anything could happen to the iPad with it inside this case, but it’s also very frustrating not to be able to turn it on and off easily

This waterproof iPad case has been awesome. I mainly bought it so I could safely use my iPad in the shower to listen to music or watch videos, and it works exactly how I hoped it would. The protection feels solid and secure, and I don’t have to worry about steam or water splashes. The screen remains responsive, and the sound still comes through clearly enough to enjoy shows or music while getting ready. If you’re looking for a reliable waterproof case for shower use, this one gets the job done. Definitely a 5-star purchase for me.

I've had this case for a year now and it has been really great. I'm really not rough on my things but the durability seems good. The flap sealing the charger port recently broke off. I contacted the seller about it since like I said, I am very gentle on my things and they very promptly answered me and sent a whole new case. I have never tested it's waterproofing and would never try to submerge my iPad but it definitely seems like it would withstand a bit of water. It has some scratches from normal wear and tear on the back but aside from that and the charge plug coming clean off, it's held up pretty well. The stand works well and I use it daily in landscape mode. There is no way to stand it up in portrait mode. The ring is a nice touch though I never use it. I also really love the stylus grip on the side. Works really well. I highly recommend this care and the seller.

These are the absolute best cases ever! We have been through over a dozen cases & probably close to 30 ipad replacements. My son is very tough on them. We bought this case for his large ipad & the mini version too. Both ipads have held up over a month with no damage & no water issues. I wish I found these cases years ago! It doesn’t work well with clear screen for my work or scrolling. Wasn't going to return it (didn’t pay much-now I know why) I used a razor blade and cut out the clear screen from the inside, retaining all black trim and also removed the button cover. Installed a thicker clear screen protector and re assembled. Never planning to test waterproofing but it’s tight enough to provide decent water resistance. Love the sturdy frame of the cover.
