I've had this case for a year now and it has been really great. I'm really not rough on my things but the durability seems good. The flap sealing the charger port recently broke off. I contacted the seller about it since like I said, I am very gentle on my things and they very promptly answered me and sent a whole new case. I have never tested it's waterproofing and would never try to submerge my iPad but it definitely seems like it would withstand a bit of water. It has some scratches from normal wear and tear on the back but aside from that and the charge plug coming clean off, it's held up pretty well. The stand works well and I use it daily in landscape mode. There is no way to stand it up in portrait mode. The ring is a nice touch though I never use it. I also really love the stylus grip on the side. Works really well. I highly recommend this care and the seller.

The media could not be loaded. After reading the reviews I was concerned about ordering one of these. To hedge my bets I ordered a second case from another company figuring I could return this one if it didn’t fit or the screen cover was loose. Turns out there was no reason for concern. Anyone who says they couldn’t get their iPad9 to fit in the case or that the screen cover was loose is only saying that because they made one simple mistake. They didn’t read the thing that says “IMPORTANT! Please read enclosed instructions before using this product.” If you insert the correct side of your iPad9 into the correct part of the first then the rest of it all goes together smoothly. Once it’s in, if you purge the air out properly according to the instructions then the screen cover isn’t loose at all. If you do it all the way it says and still have an issue then you might have actually gotten a defective one, but odds of that are pretty low. If you do get one with a defect then you can just exchange it for a new one. It was obviously designed with very close tolerances to fit perfectly and seems very well built too. I can tell just by holding it that my iPad is much better protected from impacts, but the case doesn’t make it exceedingly bulky. And best of all it came in purple. The only piece of constructive feedback I have is that in future the company might want to spring for better translation services, or at least a native language proofreader. All in all, I’m very happy with my purchase. If it performs as well as I hope then my review will go from 4 stars to 5, and I look forward to it.

My family and I are staying at Disneyland and my non verbal autistic son decided he wanted to go outside on the balcony to watch his iPad at the hotel. He somehow managed to drop it over the ledge of the balcony onto the roof of the hotel. Long story short I was able to get the iPad and it was not broken and didn’t even have a scratch on it.

Received 1/2021 Passed waterproof test. Assembled. I’m going from the Nuud Lifeproof case which was much more substantial & bulky with a front cover that doubled as horizontal/vertical stand. It did feel much safer. This only has flimsy plastic film as front and back cover, and the seal is not as tight. I will use and give it a chance but immediately I can tell the “kickstand” w/ring to hold will not last. It’s short hard plastic, difficult to open to prop & the ring to hold isnt comfortable at all! *UNFORTUNATELY only stands horizontally👎🏽👎🏽. Waterproof is a must for me👍🏽 Less bulking weight is nice - I imagine for a less clumsy person it would provide sufficient protection. *I do not feel it is adequate protection for children at all! Strap is not removable😏👎🏽 I hope using will make me feel more confident.

I bought this almost a year ago and am coming back to leave a review. For reference, I have an iPad 8. This is a good solid case, does the job admirably as advertised. I’m very satisfied and if I ever have to get a replacement I’ll come right back here. It’s definitely water resistant if not waterproof. I wouldn’t drop it in a pool and leave it but it’s okay to use it in the bath. Of the various abuses I’ve put it through, I’ve brought it to my microbiology lab, spilled isopropyl alcohol on it, washed it after someone sneezed on it (during the height of COVID) which then became semi regular washings in the sink, my kid spilled juice on it…throughout it all, this case has survived. I’ve even dropped it on tile from about 4 ft. iPad was absolutely fine. The one issue I have is that the face scratches easily. If you’re using this as a note taking device, watch out for scratches. The front face bows out a bit so sometimes you have to press down with the pencil. bought a film to cover the face and cut it down to fit the front. For me, the sensitivity is unaffected and the pencil still works just fine. The case also adds a bit of weight. It’s sturdy but a little heavy. Also have to crank the volume up. Like I said, I would repurchase this case again and I definitely recommend it. It’s still in great shape after a year, though I’m starting to get a little nervous washing it in the sink.
