Overall this is an attractive unit that provides useful storage. Assembly was completed in under an hour. The manufacturer provided all the tools for assembly. The best part was they provided a drill bit for the screws which saved time and stress on my fingers over using the provided hex key. They even included white gloves to protect the wood finishes while assembling. The directions aren't hard to follow, but it would be a LOT easier if they had some words because there's a couple parts I got stuck on assembling with only pictures to follow. When put together it's really nice and holds even heavier books without issues. The screws for the drawer are really strange and didn't hold it right. I had to super glue it instead. ... show more

Some surprises here: first, the quality was better than expected. Looks and feels better than Ikea products, which I did not expect. Easy assemble too, especially if you have a metric hex bit for a power drill. There are a lot of screws, using the included hex wrench would have been very tedious. (UPD: that hex bit is actually included! Very thoughtful) Second surprise - the case feels small. I mean, it's true to the size, but still. If you plan using it for books, I'd recommend checking the dimensions of each shelf separately. Most books will not fit. Also unexpectedly, the drawer has no slides, basically it's just a box sitting in the shelf. It's okay though, since that drawer is pretty small. All in all, I am pretty happy with this product, I got what I paid for, hence five stars. ... show more

The dowels break easily so be careful assembling. The instructions aren’t much help but it went together pretty easily. A lot smaller than I expected but they give the dimensions from pictures it seemed it would’ve been bigger . Decent for the price point but it probably won’t last long.

Super easy to put together. It came with basically two sets of screws to use instead of 5-6 like other furniture. Probably would have only taken about 30 minutes to put together by myself if I didn’t keep getting distracted on TikTok. Use a drill, way quicker. It comes with a bit which was nice. Pretty sturdy, but definitely wouldn’t put a lot of weight on the top half, unless you use the wall anchors… which I chose not to, oops! The top and bottom half fit together kind of weird, and doesn’t feel the most secure, but no issues so far. Feels like nice quality, not super cheap. Fits my needs perfect. ... show more

Great value! Arrived perfect; not one defect. Easy instructions for assembly. 2 1/2 hours with a power drill. Sturdy & thick panels. Lots of space. We have short ceilings and only had a narrow space by the door. I looked at all the dimensions and measured well. It fits exactly as we expected. I love the mint green color. I love my bookcase! It's the perfect piece for my room and small space. The only down side(personal opinion) is that if you have "tall" books, such as Children's books, there is only 2 cubbies where they will fit. The other cubes fit manga height or smaller books. So keep that in mind. Color is a great mid, pale yellow, maple color. I only had one issue with building it. There is a part that needs to be held with a wooden piece and a screw. The wooden piece broke off and both the side where it needed to be attached to and the plank itself, the little wood piece would not come out. It was broken off and stuck. So we just hope the screw is enough to keep it in place for now. We are looking forward to buying more! ... show more
