This is my sixth time buying these shelves, they are that good! A couple years ago I purchased the mint green and blue with the baseboard bottoms, but this review is for the 'pear yellow' with legs. Firstly, I'm not sure why it's called 'pear yellow' because the picture is accurate in showing a faux wood grain similar to maple. It looks fantastic! These shelves are incredibly easy to assemble and I have assembled them without any help. They only use a single kind of screw, the instructions are very easy, and when finished these shelves are wonderfully sturdy. Honestly, for the price, these shelves beat more expensive options from places like IKEA or other economy sellers. I was really impressed that now the maker is color dipping the tops of the screws so it matches the furniture (in the past the screw heads were hidden with little dot stickers that matched the furniture). I was really pleased with the legs - it will make vacuuming under them easy. If you're looking for some easy to assemble, pretty, sturdy shelves, do not hesitate to buy these! ... show more

Perfect book case . Packaging was great. It included white gloves to use while putting it together and also a drillbit that fit perfectly in my Black & Decker drill . There is no toxic smell. It looks exactly like the photos. It is so easy to put it together, I had to make a review right away because I’m in love plus the screws have a white topping so it blends in with the white of the shelvingi tried to order multiple bookcases from Amazon and Wayfair. I absolutely LOVE this bookcase. I bought one a few years ago and liked it a lot. We recently moved and I needed more book storage so I bought three more! They are sturdy, nice looking, and easy to assemble. As an added bonus there was a very slight manufacturing difference between my first bookcase and the recent bookcases. All I can say is this company cares. The Book shelve went together without a problem. There wasn't a scratch on it. And because of the gloves they supplied it remains without a scratch. Very nice, sturdy bookshelf! I was a little intimidated at first by all the pieces, but the assembly is simple and straightforward once you get going. The instructions recommended two people but I managed easily by myself - took about an hour or so. (An electric screwdriver would have definitely sped up the process.) Once I had it together, it looked great - nice, finished edges and it seemed very sturdy so defintely beats a lot of the cheaper assemble-it-yourself shelves I've put together over the years. It's quite a bit larger than I imagined - I had anticipated just putting it in a bedroom under a window but it was too tall, so it ended up out in the living room, but it's well made and nice looking enough that it doesn't look one bit out of place. Nice looking shelf from a distance. Really disappointed that the screws show on the TOP and the sides. It does go together very nicely. It did not take me very long by myself. For the price it should be nicer!!

I adore these shelves! I don't have much experience assembling furniture, and I had feared that this might be a bit complex, but the steps are very clear and all parts labeled and separated neatly. The size is perfect, and the color is accurate to the picture. Thanks!
