  • Truly Decent Indeed
Configuration: Fire TV Soundbar
I will not bore you with pictures of the same sound bar everyone else has. Instead, I will discuss the performance of the bar. I purchased at the same time I purchased my current 55" Amazon Fire TV. The bar has performed flawlessly. I do not see this as a "basic" bar as others have put it. Sounds like all bars are basic now from what I am reading. Never had any compatibility issues between the TV and the sound bar. Installation was very simple and my TV remote controls the bar simultaneously for volume controls, which is perfect. Please note, I have my bar connected wirelessly. Pairing the device to my TV took less than a minute. Sound quality and responsiveness of the bar was never affected by wireless connection. Bar is excellent with music output. I use the TV for Sirius XM radio throughout the day, and definitely during the night to help me sleep. Bass could be slightly better but sound range overall is great. It does not appear this bar is compatible with any external subwoofers. The bar is lightweight, portable, easy to move, and does great for movies, tv shows and music. Definitely intend to hold onto this one. ... show more

  • The soundbar sounds fantastic and is very compatible!
Configuration: Fire TV Soundbar
Definitely one of the better soundbars I have purchased. The price is absolutely worth it as we got it on sale and now we use it as one of our main speakers around the house. Very easy aro set up and the size of the speaker is perfect. Compatible with any device that has Bluetooth or HDMI or an AUX cable jack. ... show more

  • A Solid Entry-Level Option!
Configuration: Fire TV Soundbar
The Amazon Fire TV Soundbar offers a decent audio upgrade for those looking to improve their TV's built-in sound without breaking the bank. Dolby Audio, along with the convenience of Fire TV integration. However, it's important to have realistic expectations given its price point. What's Good: Easy Setup: Connecting the soundbar is a breeze, especially if you already have a Fire TV device. The setup process is guided and intuitive. Fire TV Integration: This is a major selling point. Seamlessly controlling the soundbar with your Fire TV remote is incredibly convenient. No juggling multiple remotes! Improved Sound over TV Speakers: The soundbar definitely provides a noticeable improvement in clarity and depth compared to most television speakers. Dialogue is clearer, and the overall soundstage is wider. Compact Size: The soundbar's slim profile fits nicely under most TVs without being intrusive. Affordable Price: This is a budget-friendly option for those wanting better sound without a huge investment. Bluetooth Connectivity: The ability to stream music wirelessly from your phone or other Bluetooth devices is a welcome addition. What's Not So Good: Limited Bass: Being a 2.0 system, the bass response is somewhat lacking. While it adds some low-end presence, it won't satisfy those looking for deep, rumbling bass for action movies or music. Consider a subwoofer if bass is a priority. Virtual Surround Sound: While DTS Virtual:X and Dolby Audio are present, the simulated surround sound effect is subtle. Don't expect a truly immersive experience. It provides a slightly wider soundstage, but it's not a replacement for a dedicated surround sound system. Sound Quality Could Be Better: While better than TV speakers, the overall sound quality is adequate, not exceptional. The mid-range can sometimes sound a bit muddy. Limited Connectivity: The soundbar primarily focuses on Fire TV integration. While it has Bluetooth, it lacks other input options like HDMI ARC, which could limit its versatility. Overall: The Amazon Fire TV Soundbar is a good entry-level soundbar for those primarily focused on improving the audio from their Fire TV and who are on a budget. The seamless Fire TV integration and improved dialogue clarity are its strongest points. However, if you're a serious audiophile or crave powerful bass, you'll likely need to spend more for a higher-end system. This soundbar is best suited for casual viewers who want a simple and affordable upgrade to their TV's built-in speakers. ... show more

  • Sound bar on a budget
Configuration: Fire TV Soundbar
I saw this on sale and thought I would take a chance. I had been wanting a sound bar to replace the TV's internal speakers which cast the sound downward. The sound bar casts the sound out in front of the TV, making it easier to hear the sound. It is an Amazon Fire product, and since I have a number of different Fire products that I am pleased with it was safe to try. The sound is adequate, far better than the TV's speakers and allows me to lower the volume and still hear the sound. Positive points that helped to influence my decision to purchase were: - multiple input methods (HMDI arc, optic, USB, Bluetooth) allow me to have it connected to the TV, but when not watching TV I can stream other devices through it. -Price -Compact, fits under the TV screen and the black color matches the TV helping blend in. -I has preset equalizer settings so you can adjust it for movies, music or dialog. -Bass boost levels I think the only thing that I found lackluster was the bass boost feature, but I am not seeking bass like you hear in so many cars that you hear sitting at a red light. Maybe they could have designed it with a built-in battery allowing you to use it remotely where power may not be available, but I know that would increase the price point. If you are looking for a budget sound bar with flexibility of inputs this is a good choice. ... show more

  • Doesnt work via cable on my TV
Configuration: Fire TV Soundbar
I think it works properly, but: 1. Does not work on my unsmart Insignia TV via HDMI or optical cable. 2. Works via Bluetooth via a BT connection device, but sound is very delayed. But then, I already have some good BT speakers that are more portable. 3. Too tall to fit under my TV on native stand. 4. Sound is clear but sounds harsh to me. I'm a bit surprised by this having used smaller Amazon speakers for music. 5. Nice size for my 40 in TV. 6. Voice enhancement is nice, but is also fine in movie mode and sounds a little better. Either way, better than native tv speaker. 7. This sounds contradictory, but the sound is about equal to my TV speaker, although much louder. I couldn't tell which I was using at close range. 8. I could not find help on the Amazon app to trouble shoot, in case I'm missing something. I did find the button that helped me pair to the proper connection. Bluetooth worked, HDMI and optical cable didn't. Sadly I'm going to have to return it. ... show more
