It has two compartments that will need to be inflated which was easy to do with a hand pump. You have to plug it quick when you're done as the blow-back valve doesn't do a great job of holding back the air pressure. It looks great and my kids were excited to use it. Unfortunately, it didn't see a lot of play time. It was hard to stabilize on due the the shape and it was difficult to even paddle on once you are able to sit on it. So you can't really ride it (unless someone pushes or pull you) and you can't really use it to just float around on because of the shape... you could throw it around though. To be fair this would be better for kids a 3 or 4 year old. Have them sit on it while you drag them around but you don't get that independent play perk out of this... which is what you want as a parent lol. ... show more

Great for the price. Was hard to blow up with the pump we have as the spout for the intex wave rider are standard small size and my pump is just slightly big for it. I wouldn’t attempt to blow this up by mouth... another thing is it seems to deflate a bit after just the first use and I can’t find any holes big or small so I’m wondering if it just doesn’t keep air in it well or what. My son does love it though and I’m hoping we can preserve it for a long while before buying another one. ... show more
