  • Good value- not a forever boat
We have had a lot of fun using this over the summer. It is easy to inflate and deflate and rides well. It maneuvers well with either one or two people paddling. Our biggest complaint is trying to get the seats adjusted. The inflatable chairs move fairly easily despite the Velcro and it’s easy to sit in them weird. Once you sit down it’s hard to move as you don’t have anything solid to push against. We still enjoy it but will buy a traditional tandem kayak soon. ... show more

  • Avoid rivers
I had purchased this kayak in the hopes of getting back in to some rapids.. The pictures include some rapid running so I figured it'd be fine... nope. It was fine on flatwater. First trip out and the floor ripped the first time it touched a rock. Definitely not "durable". The seat never stays in place, either, and its not compatible with other kayak seats. And as far as tracking goes I have more than a little experience with kayaks in the past so I know how to row efficiently to avoid it, and I was swinging so wildly even with the skeg that it put my whitewater boat I had when I was in high-school to shame. (Basically the bow swung around like crazy) So if you're thinking of getting a boat for deep flatwater to travel short distances with no chance of sticks or rocks popping, go for it. Also, the hull id is in grey on the grey by the stern. So, its hard to see but its there. ... show more

  • Awesome lil Kayak!
These things work great, bought 2 different models and they are great! Very versatile and easy to set up and use. The best thing is they store almost anywhere and you don't need all the space of a large one. They also seem more stable than a standard sit on kayak.

  • Grab and go kayak!
Love it! Easy to pack up and go. If you have an automatic air pump use that—makes inflation go much faster.

  • Great little kayak if you weigh less than 200 lbs
We bought 2 of these kayaks for my husband and I to use with our kids. It took about 10 minutes to set up each kayak including seats and paddles (we used an electric pump as opposed to the manual pump it came with). The paddles were fine and long enough, and for my son and me the kayak was super comfortable and moved pretty well (although got stuck once on a strong current). I weigh 190 and my son is 100 lbs. My husband however had a terrible time. He is an experienced kayaker but never used an inflatable one before. He weighs 230 and was with my son who weighs 50 lbs. His part of the kayak was dragging down, and he struggled to paddle and move the kayak. So I would say the 400 lb weight limit should include a caveat of 200 lb limit for each seat, otherwise the kayak will drag a little. Breakdown was the same- 10 minutes per kayak, and there’s a handy plug in the front to drain the water, which helped tons. As for us, we’ll be keeping mine and selling his! ... show more
