I've had good luck with Intek products in the past, so I was shocked by this. I understand that new air mattresses need to stretch after being filled the first time. I'm also aware that when it cools down at night you need to top the mattress off. I filled it up in the early afternoon, and then topped it off before bed. I was puttering around in my tent for a few minutes, got into bed, and the mattress was squishy again. I figured maybe I didn't have the plug in all the way, so topped it off again, and made sure the plug was secure. Got into bed and within minutes of having weight on it, it had completely deflated. Worked ok for our camping trip. Battery pump worked as expected. Standard comfort for an air mattress. My biggest complaint is that it is not a true queen size. It is advertised as 80x60”, but when we measured it after inflation it was closer to 78”x56”…larger than their advertised full size mattress, but definitely smaller than what we expected. ... show more

Had some unexpected guests show up that were staying for a few weeks due to a family member in the hospital. We bought this for them, to turn our computer room into a bedroom. The mattress does say the first time its inflated, and you sleep on it, when you wake, it will have less air in it.. and thats true. We pumped it up a second time and had to repeat this process for 3-4 days. But after that, it seemed fully inflated and held the air very well. As others have mentioned, the battery powered device (need to supply your own C batteries) supplied thats used to inflate this, allows you to fully inflate the bed 1 time. When you try to inflate it a second time, the batteries typically only have enough battery life to inflate the bed 75% of the way... which is unusable. Thats really terrible and forced me to buy a dedicated inflater, which dramatically increased the cost. Its possible that the batteries i used were sub-par, but it was tough finding C batteries, as many local stores do not sell them anymore. One other thing to mention. When you use this inside on hard surfaces, it does seem to make a lot of noise. So moving from side to side, getting on and getting off are much louder than you would ever expect. This isnt really a big deal if its just a single person, but if you have 2 people on it, the other person may get up to use the restroom in the night and its loud enough to wake you up.
