My last air mattress was many years ago and was like a toy compared to this one. At 4" deep, the old air mattress was better than lying on the ground when tent camping -- but not much. A couple weeks ago, my custom-made bed was expected on Tuesday after a 3-day holiday weekend. As a firm believer in Murphy's Law, my advance planning included removing the old bed on Wednesday before the holiday in case the new bed arrived early. I also also ordered the Intex Airbed so I had something to sleep on in case the new bed arrived a few days late. That was a good move. The seller now expects the new bed to go to the finisher 2 weeks from today and to ship 2 weeks after that. For the past six nights, I have been sleeping on my 18" high, twin-size Intex and my back and quality of rest are better than on the 2-decade-old Beautyrest mattress that was removed last week. I expect to enjoy sleeping on this Intex Airbed for the next 4-5 weeks while awaiting the new bed. Other than getting up from the Intex, feeling better than I have in months, what else do I like? 1. The 18" height...much easier than getting up from floor level 2. Fast inflation...under 5 minutes; and the built-in pump is quieter than my Hoover vacuum 3. Bottom sheet stays put; it does not slide off or move around 4. Very firm when inflated; easy to sit on for putting on or removing slippers 5. Terrific support for side sleepers, stomach sleepers, and back sleepers; I do all those 6. Holds inflation well; had to "top off" air after days 1, 2, and 3 then not again until after day 6 7. There's a 4" wide chamber around the perimeter that improves stability when getting in or out of bed 8. Supposedly holds up to 300 lbs. -- I don't know, but it was fine for my 220 lbs. 9. Drawstring canvas bag with handles included for deflated storage What am I not so crazy about? 1. It's so light, you can't tuck sheets or blankets under it; books, chairs, or dumbbells are possible alternatives to hold the edges of the sheets/blankets in place 2. The electrical cord for the air pump is about 66" so you may need an extension cord to reach electrical outlet This airbed far exceeded my expectations.

Love love love this blow up bed! I now have three of these, two queen and a twin size. Super east to use! Everyone always compliments how surprised they are at how nice they are to sleep on. I was having back and hip pains on my old real mattress (name brand wont mention) so I got rid of it and figured I would just use one of these blow up units until I picked out a new mattress. After about a week I noticed I didn't' have back or hip pain anymore....well....interesting. That made me curious at how long this unit would be comfortable to sleep on. Lets just say I still haven't bought a new real mattress yet! I'm sure I will someday, but for now I'm good! lol

Had this air mattress for camping and was great for its purpose. We didnt use the pump included because we didnt have an outlet but if you have an outlet near you, it pumps very fast. Luckily theres an extra hole where we used a handheld pump to pump up. Had to repump every night but we were expecting it and didnt mind. Pretty comfortable to sleep on for a small trip/few days but you might wake up if your partner rolls around or moves too much.

Very easy and quick to inflate. Love the way the motor is built in to the mattress with covered cord storage. I expected to be sleeping on the mattress for one month and it was extended to two full months. I found it more comfortable with a bit of give, it was too firm when fully inflated. Experienced very little air loss and only added the slightest amount twice. The mattress was sturdy and comfortable, a lot to be said considering I am over 60 years old.

We bought this mattress as we had a guest stay for ten days and our apartment isn’t big enough to store a guest bed. From the get go, this bed is easy to inflate, it has a built in plug and pump so you just plug it into the wall and it inflates. It’s double the height of our normal mattress meaning it’s far enough off the ground to be extremely comfortable. We didn’t need to blow it up once during those ten days, unless we wanted it to be inflated to the max. It was just as easy to deflate, and comes with a bag to store it in, meaning it is literally so compact and can fit in a drawer/wardrobe easily. Such good value for money, and a perfect purchase!

Product is overall awesome, very firm. It deflates a bit after inflating which is normal, no need to pump more air. The carry bag is big so, very easy to fit the mattress back into it. Great feel on top and it inflates in 5 mins. It has an inner pump but you will still electricity to pump, so not a good fit if you are doing truly rustic camping without any power near by.

Super comfortable. I got it because I didn't have a "real bed" at the time. I contined to instead sleep on this thing nightly for *three years*. It's THAT comfortable! Not only that, but unlike every other air mattress I've ever owned, this one seemed virtually leak-proof. It took 3 years for the tiniest of pinhole leaks to appear, and it was my fault because I broke something glass near it. If I weren’t buying a mattress and boxspring now, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another of these!

This bed is fairly tall which I feel is nice. It is comfortable and can be firmed or softened by changing the amount of air it holds right at the end of inflation. It is easy to inflate and very fast (a couple minutes with the enclosed pump). It only runs on 110/120 house current so don't expect to take it out in the woods and have batteries do the job for you. You could inflate it by hand/mouth but you would definitely need to use it right after doing so as you will have had a very strenuous workout... Ha! Fitted sheets fit nicely, esp. the versions which are deeper so they can be pulled a good ways down the sides.
