  • Convenient Sleep Solution
The Intex Comfort Plush Elevated Airbed has become my go-to choice for a comfortable and convenient sleep experience, whether for overnight guests or camping trips. This luxurious airbed offers outstanding comfort, easy setup, and a built-in electric pump for quick inflation and deflation. One of the standout features of this airbed is its generous bed height of 22 inches. The elevated design provides a mattress-like feel and makes getting in and out of bed effortless. The Dura-Beam construction ensures stability and durability, providing support throughout the night and preventing sagging or loss of air. I appreciate the built-in electric pump, which quickly inflates and deflates the airbed within minutes. This feature eliminates the need for manual pumping and saves valuable time and effort. The queen size offers ample space for two people to sleep comfortably, providing a restful night's sleep. The plush and velvety surface of the airbed adds to the overall comfort, making it feel cozy and inviting. I love how the airbed can be easily stored and transported when deflated, making it perfect for camping trips or accommodating guests on short notice. The flocked sides prevent sheets from slipping off and keep them securely in place, ensuring a neat and tidy appearance. The airbed's sturdy design and materials provide excellent longevity, allowing it to withstand regular use. In conclusion, the Intex Comfort Plush Elevated Airbed is a luxurious and convenient sleep solution that surpasses expectations. • Best Bed I Ever Had
First bought in 2016 had small air leak in 2019 bought another one in 2019 and its still going strong. This is my regular bed. I use it everyday. found air leak on 2016 model fixed it and use it for guest room. Have only had to add air maybe 10 times since I bought it, and only about 30 seconds worth of air each time. Hands down the BEST bed I ever sleep on. ... show more

  • Bought in 2016 and still going strong
2023 review: I bought this air mattress in 2016 and feel like its time to write a review. This mattress is incredibly durable and a great buy. I have a dog who has jumped on and off this mattress and it hasn't popped or been damaged. Its easy to inflate and deflate. Be aware that this mattress is very tall. It is the size of a bed with a boxspring. That being said, I think this mattress works very well for people who have older people staying over, who can't get down on the floor to sleep on a lower inflatable bed. But because of its inflated size, the mattress is a bit hefty in weight when its folded up and stored. It also will take up the space in what ever area it is inflated in. Just keep that in mind. But for an inflatable mattress, that's gotten a lot of use and weight on it for almost 10 years, I'd say it was a great purchase! ... show more

  • It's a blow up bed.
Keep watching the sidewalls when inflating and during usage. This is our second bed, the first started coming apart, looking like a balloon, the INNER structure. started separating doing I don't know what. Not long after that it started getting holes at the glued together seams from the inside. Did patch work not with the patch that came with. I purchased industrial style patch roll material and adhesive and continued to use the bed seemed to work fine but was warrantied a new mattress. Re-modeling the bedroom so using the airbed nightly (inflating and deflating) daily. All happy with a back-up bed...lol. ... show more

  • Great buy! Guests loved it! Easy set up, love the attached pump.
UPDATED: 01/02/2017 One of the inflatables does not hold up air anymore. I searched through and through for a whole but could not find any. It just won't stay up overnight and had to pump air into it every so often. A big disappointment as we have been very careful at using this, and only used it a few times. I was anxious ordering an airmattress online. I was also considering a more expensive airmattress at amazon before buying this one. I am so glad I bought this. It worked like a charm. Bought two queens for relatives who were staying over for two nights. This mattress stayed firm and did not deflated overnight. Love that the pump is included and the plug has it's own slot for you to tuck it in when done finlating the bed. Inflating and deflating has been so much easier than two other air mattresses we have owned. My husband who did not want to buy another air mattress again has been convinced that this one is an exception. He liked them and was glad I bought them too. The mattress look big once inflated, but it's actually just right once you set everything up (sheets and all). One of the mattresses held up pretty good even with a tempurpedic memory foam mattress on top (that weighed pretty heavy) . Our guests appreciated that it's raised, one of our guest had a bad knee and the height was just right for getting up without effort. It did not go floppy two nights straight. Deflating it was no problem, it did not take long. The bag fit the mattress just fine. It did not break or tear. You just need to follow the instruction on how to fold the mattress properly to fit in the bag. Overall, great buy for the price!! I'm glad that for the price of the other mattress I was considering, I was able to buy two of these instead. I am considering of buying another one for our guests' kids to keep everything at the same height. UPDATE: I just set them up again for incoming guests. I inflated one of the Intex queen sized mattresses and the lower navy colored one I got from Kmart in 2013 ( it's intext too but the cheaper one reference -https://amzn.com/B000HBILB2 ). I cannot tell you enough how much easier the process of inflating and setting up the Intex over the blue one from Kmart. The blue one from Kmart had a separate electric pump. I forgot how annoying, loud, and SLOW it was until after I inflated this. The Intext was so easy, it wasn't too loud. The Intex airmatress - you plug it in, turn it on and it inflates on it's own in less than five minutes. It's much higher than the Kmart one and the quality of the mattress is far superior than the one I got from Kmart. The entire matress has this velvety/felt all over it's body. Unlike the Kmart one where the body is literally plastic. It really makes you feel like you are sleeping not only on an air mattress, but you are sleeping on one of those floaties you used on the swimming pool. The Intex however, is firm, sturdy and higher. It almost doesn't feel like an airmattress. It holds air pretty good. Atleast the ones that I got. The Kmart one is not holding air as good as the Intex. In some of the photos, I am showing how you can take this airmattress up a notch with comfort and it is holding up pretty good. Padded mattress protector on, bed sheets, nice fluffy comforter, great pillows, extra soft throw and it makes a huge difference being that you are having your guests sleep on an air mattress. I would have added a matress topper, but I live in an apartment, and this is a temporary situation - I don't have room to keep a mattress topper so I opted for a quilted mattress protector which added some softness on top of the mattress. Great solution and great buy for incoming guests!! ... show more

  • Great value even two years later!
I purchased this air mattress for when I traveled to friends and family’s houses. It meant I could take my own bed, own sheets, and knew what kind of sleep I would be getting. It’s big enough that my small child could sleep with me as well. It is easy set up. It is also pretty easy breaking it down and getting it back in the bag. Getting it in the carry bag does require some patience and you have to really fold it up nicely to make it fit accurately, but not impossible. I recommend really paying attention to how it’s folded the first time that you take it out to use it. I can say that I have now had it for a little over two years and I still love it! I am a larger woman and the first two years it never leaked any air. Granted I really only used it for travel and guests so that equals about 21-25 sleeps a year. It’s a nice firm sleep and I always slept very well on it no matter where I was and so have my guests. Now two years later I have had to sleep on it more frequently because I was moving. I have had to sleep on it for about the last 7 weeks and it does leak air now. I fill it before bed and 6-7 hours later it has leaked about 20-25%. It’s like the difference between extra firm and extra soft pillow top. What’s great is that you can just reach up and click the switch and inflate it while your still in it if need be. I will be back in my bed soon, but this has definitely gotten the job done. I will probably replace it soon, but I have been impressed with its quality. It fits queen size sheets well. I will say that flannel sheets seem to fit it better and give a more comfortable sleep. They just slide less than regular sheets on it. The carry bag leaves enough space that you can keep the sheets folded on top of the bed too which is nice when you are traveling. Oh and the height is great! My dad slept in it when he visited and he’s 6’3” with arthritis and it was high enough for him to get in and out of and be comfortable. He’s also a bigger guy and he was comfortable and felt supported. I hope this helps because I think it’s been a great bed! ... show more

  • Awesome for a guest bed.
Not having a guest room can be an issue when you live in San Diego. Okay, technically we have a room people can use but not many opt for my sons loft bed with a weight limit of 130 lbs. With two guest visits on the horizon I decided to buy this. I already had an inflatable queen size mattress we use for camping but it wasn't elevated like this one and as is typical of some airbeds it would be partially deflated by morning. Not a big deal when camping but not ideal for guests or older people who might not be able to get up that easily from the floor. I bought this mattress, using prime it arrived two days later. It came in the intex box and then inside it comes inside a drawstring bag made up of the same material as the velvety part of the mattress. Not great but not bad either, good enough to pack up in and throw in the closet at any rate. It has a built in pump and a chord to plug into the standard outlet that's about 4 feet long. The pump itself is easy to use, twist the knob one way to inflate, twist the other way to deflate. So I turned it on and the bed inflated fully in under 5 minutes. I then turned it off and put the chord back into the built in storage compartment built into the pump. It was easy to put the chord in which was nice, I hate when you have to shove the freakin thing in and it barely fits. It gives me bad flashbacks to installing ceiling fans.. anyway. My friend from Vegas used the bed first. Said it was comfortable and remained firm the next day. It will lose a little air over the first few days due to the material stretching but not much. I just turned the pump on for about 10 seconds and it was fully inflated again. After that it held air for 2 weeks no problem. My guest didn't stay that long, I'm just lazy and left it up. The material is pretty thick. My dog jumped on it and did no damage, although I made him get down right away. My next visitor stayed a few days and had a visitor, what can I say, I'm a good host. So with double occupancy and hopefully for him some vigorous activity, the mattress held up fine. So I would for sure say get it for a spare guest bed. It would be great for camping too as long as you have an outlet you can plug it into. Cons: The only con I can see with this and all Airbeds is the air inside cools quickly if the room is cold. This isn't unique to this air bed so I wouldn't say it's a con but if you have a cold room or someone who gets cold easily (hey not me, I like my cider and cheese) if you throw a thin feather bed or mattress pad on top of this you'll be golden. ... show more
