Description

The Comfort Plush Elevated Airbed is a part of the Dura-Beam series of airbeds that are providing amazing durability for years of lasting comfort. The secret is in the Fiber-Tech beam construction, which is comprised of thousands of high-strength polyester fibers that provide enhanced comfort, stability and support. Each bed is covered in plush flocking that is soft to the touch, and the horizontal air chambers provide added stability and support around the entire bed. The mattress is also equipped with a quality-tested, 20.8-gauge waterproof flocked top with 15-gauge vinyl beams and 16-gauge sides and bottom for durability. And best of all, the Comfort Plush mattress is remarkably easy to inflate thanks to the built-in, high-powered electric pump, which does its job in a mere 3-1/2 minutes. No more fussing with tiring hand or foot pumps or rummaging through the garage for your detached electric pump. And should the mattress feel a little too soft or firm, you can customize the comfort level with the touch of a button. The Comfort Plush is raised 18 inches from the floor, making it far taller than most inflatable mattresses. And at 60 by 18 by 80 inches (W x H x L), the mattress is an official queen size, making it a good fit for fitted sheets. The Comfort Plush Queen bed--which offers a capacity of 600 pounds--is a terrific choice whether you're sleeping at the in-law's overcrowded house or setting up a guest bed in the basement. The mattress comes with an AC power cord and a duffel bag (for storage).

Incredibly stable and supportive for what it is!

Upon reading the instructions, I discovered that this bed needs to be inflated fully and then left undisturbed for about 24 hours before putting weight on it for the first time. I therefore inflated it, put a mattress pad and sheets on it, and didn't try to lay on it until the second day. It is a very nice airbed. Maybe I got lucky, but it's holding air just perfectly. I love the built-in pump that can fill the bed (or empty it) in a hurry. The extra tote bag it comes with is a nice touch. The flocked surface holds the sheets on without slipping. My queen fitted sheets went on with ease and the fit was exact. Considering it's a vinyl bag of air, it has a really solid feel to it. It still wiggles a bit from side to side when getting onto it or off of it, but the Dura-Beam construction does seem to stabilize it and offer some support. My two guests put about 350 pounds on it and didn't notice much in the way of air loss overnight. I suspect that, over time, the vinyl will stretch a bit and there might be a tear or two, so I'm glad they included a patch kit. A quick tip for finding leaks: mix up some gentle soap and water such that you could use it to blow bubbles. Dribble it onto suspicious areas. Pinhole leaks will blow soap bubbles and you'll be able to see them. Just remember to let the area dry before trying to patch it!

What A Disappointment!

I had an Intex bed that we used for three weeks for an unexpected guest. Later we were going to have 2 overnight house guests so I bought this bed and pulled the other one out and set them up the day before I needed them. The old one failed and I frantically ran to a local store to buy another Intex bed, set it up and and refilled just before use as directed. THEY BOTH FAILED AFTER ONE USE! I phoned the manufacturer and after waiting half an hour I got a representative that was less than helpful. Amazon was great about the refund - but I am really disappointed with the product!

TERRIBLE QUALITY AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

We purchased 2 of these to replace our current airbeds about 4 months ago. Upon receipt, we blew them up to be sure they had no defects, and they seemed to hold the air just fine at first. We used them for the first time last weekend, and 2 hours after inflating one, it was 50% deflated, without having slept on it yet. We refilled it, and during the night, it deflated about 30%. The second one did the same thing, during the night, with a 130lb sleeper, it was about 30% deflated. We refilled them both, and during the day of non-use, by evening, they were again about 40% deflated. During this night, same thing, so by morning, down about 50%. We then re-inflated them, did not use them and the next morning, they were 75% deflated. By the end of the day, again still no use, 95% deflated. I called Intex to see about replacing them, and because they have only a 90 day warranty, I was told there was nothing to be done, it was most likely just "stretching". I would not recommend these airbeds to anyone, so if you do purchase one, it is at your own risk, and I would highly recommend trying them out a number of times prior to the end of the warranty period. Poor customer service and very disappointed in the product.

Leaks

I bought this air mattress primarily with camping in mind. I aired it up and initially it felt like a quality air mattress. Tough, thick material and surprisingly comfortable. I was disappointed to find out that it is leaky about 3 hours into the first night of use. After barely a few hours of sleep, I woke up to the mattress being a little more than halfway deflated. The hole/leak is small and I can't seem to find it, but it is definitely there. I didn't use it for the first time until it was already too late to get a refund, so I guess I'm just out of luck and have to eat the money for a fault product. If not for the leak, this would get a 5 star rating from me. It's comfortable when fully aired up, and the material seems durable, but it's useless if it won't hold any air.
