Description

The Comfort Plush Elevated Airbed is a part of the Dura-Beam series of airbeds that are providing amazing durability for years of lasting comfort. The secret is in the Fiber-Tech beam construction, which is comprised of thousands of high-strength polyester fibers that provide enhanced comfort, stability and support. Each bed is covered in plush flocking that is soft to the touch, and the horizontal air chambers provide added stability and support around the entire bed. The mattress is also equipped with a quality-tested, 20.8-gauge waterproof flocked top with 15-gauge vinyl beams and 16-gauge sides and bottom for durability. And best of all, the Comfort Plush mattress is remarkably easy to inflate thanks to the built-in, high-powered electric pump, which does its job in a mere 3-1/2 minutes. No more fussing with tiring hand or foot pumps or rummaging through the garage for your detached electric pump. And should the mattress feel a little too soft or firm, you can customize the comfort level with the touch of a button. The Comfort Plush is raised 18 inches from the floor, making it far taller than most inflatable mattresses. And at 60 by 18 by 80 inches (W x H x L), the mattress is an official queen size, making it a good fit for fitted sheets. The Comfort Plush Queen bed--which offers a capacity of 600 pounds--is a terrific choice whether you're sleeping at the in-law's overcrowded house or setting up a guest bed in the basement. The mattress comes with an AC power cord and a duffel bag (for storage).

  • Structured and Comfortable
Style: Twin
Just received this a few days ago and boy is it comfortable. WARNING: I will be using that word quite a bit in this review. This is the best air mattress I have ever purchased. No kidding! It's not made like those flimsy ones that most people usually buy and it sits up high (hence the "Elevated" in it's name), which I like. Well worth the price which is great by the way. I have never found a quality air mattress for this price. PROS Well-made Comfortable Built-in inflator Has a structure similar to a real mattress Cloth-textured side for comfort Inflates very quickly Firmness and Softness can be adjusted for comfort CONS Don't have any as of now. Where am I using this air mattress you ask.... Well it's for guests but most importantly for myself when I want to take it in the living room and watch The Lord of the Rings Trilogy on the floor in comfort with popcorn in hand : ) . For the amount I paid I would purchase another one. Seriously, this is coming from someone who has bought 4 or five air mattresses, even a few that cost more than this one. If you're looking for one that's of good quality and comfortable this is it........Comfortable *EXTRA TIP* For past and prospective customers if you accidentally rip it or poke a hole in it somehow, you can pick up the Tear-Aid Repair Type B Vinyl Kit at your local hardware store or on Amazon. It works. Invest in it if you want to hold on to your air mattress and not toss it in the trash when it starts leaking or gets ripped. By the way sometimes when it's leaking air there may be a tiny hole(s) on your air mattress. You have to find those little scoundrels and seal them if you're not ok with having to purchase a new one. ... show more

  • Incredibly stable and supportive for what it is!
Style: Queen
Upon reading the instructions, I discovered that this bed needs to be inflated fully and then left undisturbed for about 24 hours before putting weight on it for the first time. I therefore inflated it, put a mattress pad and sheets on it, and didn't try to lay on it until the second day. It is a very nice airbed. Maybe I got lucky, but it's holding air just perfectly. I love the built-in pump that can fill the bed (or empty it) in a hurry. The extra tote bag it comes with is a nice touch. The flocked surface holds the sheets on without slipping. My queen fitted sheets went on with ease and the fit was exact. Considering it's a vinyl bag of air, it has a really solid feel to it. It still wiggles a bit from side to side when getting onto it or off of it, but the Dura-Beam construction does seem to stabilize it and offer some support. My two guests put about 350 pounds on it and didn't notice much in the way of air loss overnight. I suspect that, over time, the vinyl will stretch a bit and there might be a tear or two, so I'm glad they included a patch kit. A quick tip for finding leaks: mix up some gentle soap and water such that you could use it to blow bubbles. Dribble it onto suspicious areas. Pinhole leaks will blow soap bubbles and you'll be able to see them. Just remember to let the area dry before trying to patch it! ... show more

  • Good inflatable bed. Easy to inflate and deflate
Style: Twin
Quite amazed at how quick and simple this is to set up and inflate. Took only minutes. It's a nice height from the ground and very comfortable, though as others have noted, there's the feeling that you need to stay centered on the mattress or risk rolling off. This can be avoided to an extent by not inflating it quite as hard that likely leads to a high spot in the center of the mattress. Deflating and packing was just as easy.... quickly deflated and with a little folding and pressing out remaining air, was easily folded up and stored away. I did not however try to fold it up small and tight in order to fit it back into the container, though that shouldn't be too difficult with some work. In hindsight I think I may have been better off with a queen size to reduce the slight instability of this narrower mattress. But this size is large enough for me and it does leave more room in the tent where I plan to use it. It's sturdy enough to sit on comfortably. I've laid on it and was very comfortable, though I've yet to sleep on it. It's well made for what it is and extremely easy to inflate and deflate. I did not have any trouble with it losing air. As a matter of fact, after several hours I ended up letting a bit of air out to eliminate the slight bulge in the center. Instructions however say to leave it fully inflated for several hours and to expect it to seem to deflate a little due to the plastic stretching initially. At any rate, short of an actual leak, it's a very simple matter to just pump a little more air into it should it lose air. But I don't see that being necessary any more than once a day maybe. ... show more
