This mattress was the perfect solution for a wonderful family visit - I highly recommend it , and the pump means that you can use it on a camping trip with no electrical outlet , its battery charged and worked so easily . I really was pleased with the quality of the mattress and the quality of my sleep on it . I would actually recommend it for people who are having problems sleeping , as I worked in health care , and wish that I had THIS mattress for my patients who were immobile , as it both cushions your body AND it moves as you turn and roll . Keeping the lymphatic system in motion through the night is a good preventative for inflammation and swelling , and I am resting BETTER on this mattress than my constructed normal mattress that I usually sleep on . This Intex Dura-beam airbed is convenient and budget friendly. Reason for buying: spare bed for visitors and/or use for when traveling. PROS: (1-5; 1 low, 5 highest) • Softness level when laid on is rated 4, great! - it does not sank or felt stiff for the body, almost better than a regular mattress. • Smoothness level of the top surface is rated 4; it is made of velvet material and it keeps the sheets from moving or sliding. • Bed size & height is accurate, rate 5, sheets fits well and does not feel that its close to the ground when slept on. • Automatic Pump, rate 1, requires 6-C Batteries, it is sold separately, please buy ahead of time. • Price is average, rate 3. It goes higher if bought with automatic/manual pumps. CONS: • Deflates a little after days passes by. Note that this was sealed well and had no holes in it. • Not for every day use especially with pets or kids around. • Might not be ok for the back for long-term use.

Great price, solid mattress, BUT- I did not realize they came in different lengths and this one is exactly my height and I am 5'9. I have another one from the same maker and it's much longer. Keep that in mind if you care, I do not so I am keeping it. I love this brand, like I said I have another from them and it's great. I am a little confused though because it dose not seem to be filling past a certain point and it's still nowhere near full. I am going to use a different pump than the one that is included which should alleviate the problem. The pump that came with did a great job getting it to a certain point but it never got any fuller after that.

Matress seems reasonable but I actually bought this for the pump not realizing it requires batteries, don't get the pump option! It's garbage, wouldn't fill the bed completely, finally i got tired of waiting and remembered I had a shop vac. I'm sending this back because I don't need a mid grade matress and unusable pump. 1 star for the pump if that.

I bought this with the idea it could make my pull out sofa more comfortable when used. It looked like a good option at the time and if it had been good quality, that would have been true. I can tell you after the THIRD use, it will no longer hold air. I was a supervisor of an inflatable repair department where I diagnosed and repaired hundreds of inflatable products from stand up paddleboards, zodiacs, inflatable rescue boats, inflatable tents, etc. I know how to treat inflatable items properly i.e. not over inflating, protecting from dangers of puncture etc. I would have really liked this item if it had any quality at all. It was a sad disappointment and a loss of money. It’s really sad that after the third use it will no longer hold air. Especially when considering it was used in what would be called a very gentle environment with no danger of punctures or overinflation etc. If you are looking for an inflatable mattress, this is NOT the product you want. It SOUNDS good, but you are much better off spending your money elsewhere. I think I’ve only ever written one other bad review, but this was a necessary one to warn others. There was nothing which resembled durability in this product whatsoever. It’s sad, but it’s also true. You need to do better, Intex!

I didn’t read - so heads up, the pump needs 6 C batteries. Honestly, I wish I’d just gone without the pump combo and bought a different one, it does feel like it’d last long. The mattress though? OH MY GOD. I took it camping just one night for my son’s bday and it was the best nights sleep I’ve ever had. I have a compressed spinal cord in my c-spine and my neck hurts 100% of the time. I woke up without pain for the first time in literal years. I went camping again the next weekend (this past one) and the second day I went to take a nap and slept from 4pm-8am the next day, in the Missouri heat in June, because it was just so gotdamn comfortable. I’d sleep on this thing every night if my 90 lb dog wouldn’t immediately ruin it. This thing’s inspired me to buy a new mattress now that I know good sleep does exist. 100% recommend. Also for the twin size for my son and he liked it the normal amount someone likes an air mattress haha
